Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. &#226&#156&#168 Husk Is Ready for His Glow-Up! &#226&#156&#168   Husk has been with us since January, and this 5-year-old German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix is finally ready to take the next step on his journey — into a foster, or even better, a forever home. He’s neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and has finished his heartworm treatment, so he’s all set for a fresh start.   When Husk first arrived, he was a quiet, unsure guy who preferred keeping to himself. Fast forward to today, and you’d hardly recognize him! He now explores the house with confidence, happily hangs with the other dogs, and even greets us in the kitchen after his bath looking for treats (his favorite thing in the world). Snacks are his love language, and they’ve helped him blossom into a calmer, more affectionate companion.   Husk is dog-friendly and feels more at ease with canine buddies, so another pup in the home would be a huge plus. He’s still a work in progress with potty training and the leash, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, he’s proven he can learn and adapt. Every milestone — from relaxing on the couch to enjoying a good brushing — shows just how far he’s come.   This sweet, soulful boy is truly a diamond in the ruff &#226&#156&#168. With the right person or family to believe in him, Husk will keep shining brighter every day. If you’ve got the heart (and a few extra treats), he could be the most rewarding chapter in your story.   Apply today at 4luckydogs.org to meet Husk! Story
OhNo! is a Neutered 05/18/2021 GSD He is: Tampa, FL LOOKING FOR Active Pet or Sport Home Up to date on vaccines Has a recent negative fecal Heartworm negative Has had a dental within the past year (Missing one Canine Right bottom as it broke and was removed) Microchipped Best as ONLY DOG as in Not turned out with other dogs but we prefer him to be the only dog in home if you want free roaming. Can be worked around other Dogs, people, animals Good with People Good with kids of all ages (Though I would not let him unsupervised around children under 6) Extremely HIGH toy Drive Medium Food Drive Medium Praise Drive OFA Rated FAIR Hips OFA Rated Djd grade 1 Left Elbow NORMAL Right Elbow Kennel Trained House Trained Knows: Sit, Down, Come, No, Off, Place, Out Conditioned to E-collar and Prong Registered with BarnHunt Association and has a Novice Title and does well hunting. He adores adults but can be a bit too rambunctious for children under 12. OhNo! is a high-drive dog who thrives when given structure and a job to do. He would benefit from continued work on his impulse control around toys, and he’d love a home that enjoys ongoing training. He walks well on leash and knows sit, down, leave it, drop it, and has been working on place. He also enjoys having an outlet for his drive—dog sports are a great option, though not required. (He has already started Barn Hunt and earned his Novice title!) This boy is not a “hang around and do nothing” type of dog—he wants to be involved, engaged, and part of your daily routine.

Story
Odin is a 9 year old purebred GSD with all applicable AKC paperwork. He is well trained and has a great personality. Has never shown signs of aggression and is generally goofy. He is very high energy and does have anxiety when left alone. He has a sensitive stomach as well which requires a special hydrolized dog food ordered from his vet. I am extremely distraught at having to re home him but due to having a newborn child join the household, but it is something that is unavoidable as he is not good with kids.

Story
Rico is a Belgian Malinois and American Pit Bull mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He is incredibly loyal and thrives on building a strong bond with his person. Rico does very well in the home — he’s comfortable, well-mannered, and settles in nicely once he knows he’s part of the family. He’s an energetic, intelligent dog who loves to stay active. Toys and games of fetch are some of his favorite things, and his sharp mind makes him quick to learn and eager to engage. Rico would do best with someone who enjoys interacting with their dog and can give him both physical activity and mental stimulation. Despite his playful and driven side, Rico also has a soft, affectionate nature. He absolutely loves to cuddle and will happily relax with you after playtime. He’s the kind of companion who gives his loyalty fully and just wants to be close to his people.
