Meet Luna! She was originally dumped on the neighbor of the breeder. The breeder refused to take the dog back claiming she was a "gift" . The family was trying to find her a good home because they knew that they couldn't keep her long term but then she started going downhill. She was anemic from the high load of parasites present in her GI system and required an emergency transfusion. She is feeling so much better and is learning how to be a puppy with her foster family but we would love for her to continue to grow with her forever family! We try to take him on a walk every other day for at least 30 minutes, but sometimes he just dont have the time. How is the dog meeting new people? He is really good with meeting people. He loves to be around people. Has the dog been fine around kids? Down to what age? He hasn't been around smaller children,mostly kids 10 and older. He does like playing rough. So I wouldn't recommend small children. How is the dog meeting new dogs? He is good at meeting dogs at the dog park. He really likes running around. But he doesn't like very energetic dogs around him. Does he/she go to the dog park? Yes but not as often as we would like to take him. Do you know how he/she is with cats? No cats. Luna was rescued from the streets in April 2024, she had parasites and heart worms. She has been treated for parasites and heart worms and is now negative. She has not been spayed; it is believed she was only used for breeding. Luna gets along very well with people, she has tons of energy, therefore it would best she's kept in an environment where lots of exercise is provided to her. The vets estimated approximately she's about 7 or 8 years old. Not sure of her care prior her rescue, she has scars on her front paws and hind legs. In my opinion, she requires lots of attention, she's loyal and needy. Ift left alone she will create a mess, chew on anything accessible to her, then the stomach issues will occur. In conclusion a good dog.
