Shadow will be seven on June 2, 2026. My ex husband and I bought him from a breeder when he was 8 weeks old. My ex was on the abusive side towards him so Shadow is wary of men and can be aggressive towards them if provoked or surprised. He’s nipped at two men, but never bitten or attacked anyone. He is not leash trained and goes crazy on a leash if he sees another dog. He attacked an off leash dog that ran up to him the last time I walked him. The few times he’s been around young children, he's been fine, but he tends to play rough. He has always been an inside dog. He is a very high energy dog that loves playing fetch and tug of war. Shadow can be a very sweet dog, but he is too much for me to handle by myself. I can’t control him and I don’t have the time or money to put him through the training he needs. I know he can be a wonderful dog for the right person. I love him, but I know I’m not giving him the life he deserves. I don’t want him to end up in a shelter with a broken heart.

I have a full blood female German shepherd who is very loving and great with kids, she will be ok with other dogs but she needs a little time to get to know them as I have another dog she does fine with, she is great with cats. I rescued her from the previous owner who left her to starve and unfortunately can’t keep her.
