Story
Name: MyaBreed: German ShepherdSex/Age/Weight: Female, about 2 years old and 62-65 pounds Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm, flea, tick prevention, microchipped, and will be spayed prior to adoptionHouse trained/Crate Trained: Mya is house trained and crate trained, and she can be left unattended (out of her crate) without a problemDogs/Cats/Children: She LOVES all people; not yet tested with dogs and catsEnergy Level: Mya loves to run and play, but she also loves cuddling on the couch or a bed, preferably with one of her people. Before FAR/My History: Mya was a well-loved, indoor dog. She was surrendered to an animal shelter along with her puppies when the owners’ landlord told them that they had to get rid of all of the dogs or face eviction.Training Status/Commands: Mya knows come, sit, and down. She also knows how to use a doggy door.Working on: Stay, wait, crate - it seems like she knows these commands already, she just needs reminders at this point.Things I like: Going for walks, playing / running in the woods, cuddling with her peopleThings I don’t like: We haven’t discovered anything that Mya really doesn’t like.Things that make my humans happy: Mya is a total sweetheart! She loves cuddling, and she’s eager to please. With the encouragement of a favorite treat, she’ll go in her crate by herself.Ideal Family/Home: Mya needs a family who will make her a part of their pack and take her on adventures. Because she is a large breed working dog, she’ll need an adopter or family who has large breed experience, and who will be committed to providing Mya with daily exercise and training. She has not yet been cat or dog tested, both can be done upon request.Special Notes: Mya has been spayed and is up-to-date on her vetting. She's also heartworm negative.
