Story
This pretty 3-legged girl is Regina (Gina). She is a 7½ month-old shepherd/pit bull/belgian malinois mix who will likely be 50-60 pounds when fully grown. Gina is a smart, sweet, happy, playful girl who loves chew bones and toys. She also loves to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home, and cuddle with her humans. She can do most everything the 4-legged dogs do, but she does tire out a little quicker. She would do better with a few shorter walks rather than 1 long walk. Gina has been working on basic commands and is doing pretty well with come, sit, down, stay and no, but will need continued training. Gina can sometimes have selective hearing with the come and stay commands. Gina is doing well with potty training with regular potty breaks. Gina is kennel trained, she sleeps in her kennel all night and keeps her kennel clean. Gina is a little reserved with strangers, but is doing better every day with regular outings for socialization. Gina is an absolute sweetheart and loves praise, rubs and treats. Gina’s adoption fee is $300 and helps cover her amputation, spay, vaccines, microchip registration and heartworm and flea preventatives to date. If you are interested in meeting Regina, please apply at www.gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog. ##1708269##

Story
Spaghetti O is a German Shepherd mix who is ready to find a home with lots of pasta and less barking. He is more timid than his pal Beefaroni and loved getting away from the stressful environment of the shelter. He walks well on a leash and is very gentle and cuddly. He seems to be intimidated by the shelter environment and would love a place to relax and snuggle in peace. His best feature is that he has one floppy ear and one attentive ear at all times. Apollo is such a happy playful pup! He loves playing with his buddies at the shelter. Once he is worn out, he settles right in for a good nights sleep! This boy is so loving and is looking for a family who can keep up with him! All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ronnie is a very special girl. She likes to follow her people around wherever they go, but she can also be pretty independent from time to time. Ronnie likes to play with toys on her own schedule, but when she does play with them you can find her rooting through the toy box to find the perfect one. Ronnie walks pretty well on leash, but could benefit from some additional training (very food motivated). She is good with cats and most dogs as long as introduced properly. Ronnie sleeps in a crate at night or when left alone with no issues, and is also potty trained as long as she is kept on a regular schedule. Apply for this sweet girl today! All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heart-worm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Due to the construction of our state of the art facility, none of our pets are on site, they are all located in foster homes at this time.
