Sweet, affectionate, and full of playful spirit, he’ll greet you like you’re the highlight of his day. His favorite hobbies include squeaky toy collecting, outdoor zoomies, and exuberantly rolling over for belly rubs the moment someone reaches down to pet him.This handsome boy is house-trained, knows commands like sit, down, and stay, and he rarely barks. He walks nicely with a harness, minding his own business without reacting to animals along the way. He’s also making great progress on the art of waiting at the door instead of rushing out, a big accomplishment for a dog who loves adventure.Sir Tripp enjoys running in the yard and playing outdoors, he also does well with other dogs (especially smaller ones ) when there are slow introductions. At home, he’s calm and balanced, happy to switch from playtime to relaxation mode. His crate is his cozy retreat, where he naps and sleeps peacefully.He’s trusting, respectful, doesn’t bark much, and eats his meals like a perfect gentleman. Female - 4 months - 22 lbs - Microchipped - Spay Contract - ILHi! My name is Cindy! I am a 4-month-old, currently 22 lb female. My adoption will be conditional on my adopter having me spayed at 6 months of age, which will be end of April 2026. I am working on my housetraining and crate-training, since I am still young I should be crated when left home unsupervised! I love all people and will immediately seek affection from new friends I meet: including men, women, and young children. I am happy to welcome visitors to our home. I also enjoy spending time with other dogs and love to play chase with my foster siblings. I like to play with toys and have already mastered destuffing plush toys, which I love to do! I haven’t met any cats to know how I feel about them. I have been working on my leash skills and know not to pull, though I don’t necessarily understand to walk in a straight line yet either. I have learned how to sit, leave it, and off on cue. I would love to find myself a family where I will get continued training and socialization as I mature—could that be with you? Hera may have crash-landed at ACL after being hit by a car, but she has not let that get her down! This pint-sized, smart, sassy, sweet girl has recovered from her injuries and is finally ready for her forever home. Hera loves learning and training! She's very food-motivated and eager-to-please, and she picks up new cues exceptionally quickly when rewarded with snacks. Hera likes other dogs, but she's still working on her manners when meeting them so would do best with a tolerant canine companion. Hera's fosters say "She’s the sweetest, most resilient little girl! She’s going to be a loyal companion to a very lucky person!" If you'd like to be that person, get in touch with us to meet Hera! Weight: 46 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Yes! They will potty outside every time or nearly every time (rarely has accidents). Crate-trained: Working on it! They will bark or vocalize for up to 30 minutes, but do eventually settle. Leash behavior: Working on it! They are still learning what the leash is all about and may have some behaviors that will require continued positive reinforcement training. Dog sociability: They like them! They enjoy the company of dog friends, but would be just as happy to be an only dog in the home. Cat sociability: Unknown! They have never met a cat while in foster care. Kid sociability: Unknown! They have never met children while in foster care. Likes: Playing with her toys, going on walks, getting plenty of petting Dislikes: Being left out of the fun Hera's front right leg was amputated after being hit by a car and brought into the shelter. She has no trouble getting around on three legs, but it is very important that she be kept at a healthy weight for her entire life in order to reduce strain on her remaining joints. We recommend working with your veterinarian to monitor Hera for signs of arthritis or joint pain as she ages. Got Luna from Metro East Humane Society in 2022, she is a fun and loving dog very energetic loves to go on runs and fits a active lifestyle. She loves to roll over for belly rubs is reasonably trained. Favorite past times are tug of war and fetch. She is not a fan of vehicles and would enjoy a more calm area. Great with other dogs and has healthy play habits, not sure on cats, good with older children not due to aggression but size. She is a larger dog around 115lbs and gets very excited and likes to nudge into things with her head and side to get rubs. She's a great dog This is a last resort and wouldn't even consider this if I didn't have to. Luna is a little high maintenance with her large frame and double coat she loves playing with the water for bath time and needs a home that will love and be able to give her time and space to run. If your looking for a bigger dog for protection or just for a buddy Luna is amazing if your willing to put the work in with her
