ARRIVING IN WI on Saturday June 17th-
Rio is a handsome 2 year old male long haired German Shepherd who weighs about 50 pounds.
Rio is a sweet playful boy. He loves being a couch potato when no one's home but is also active and will never turn down a game of fetch! He's great with other dogs and walks well on a leash. He is potty trained and kennel trained. He likes to play with stuffed toys and squeaky toys. He does good with other dogs of all sizes. He does well with respectful children, but can be a bit shy and timid around loud/rambunctious children.
He knows basic commands such as sit/shake/lay down.
Rio is neutered, tested heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition.
Rio's adoption fee will contribute to our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the Midwest. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.
He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Saturday June 17th, and will be available for to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, between noon and 4 pm by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below.
His adoption fee is $600, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $300, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon pick up. Should you find that she is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable.
