Story
Archie is a 2-year-old male shepherd mix who is available for adoption at CCHS! Archie is a sweet boy who did well with children and other dogs in his previous home. He can be pretty shy and nervous when meeting new people, so slow introductions may be recommended. He is typically quite treat-motivated and he loves going outside. Come meet Archie at CCHS!

Story
We have had Theo since 2022 when he was 6 weeks old. He is a German Shepard pit bull mix. He’s house/crate trained. We cannot keep him due to his shedding/allergens. He’s friendly with children and has never bit anyone. He’s a big dog with a lot of energy so he sometimes pulls on walks and jumps on you when excited. He really is a sweet dog and enjoys spending time with the family. Comes with a large crate

Story
Bo is a beautiful purebred German Shepherd. My father took in him into our house after he was given to my sister by her coworker. I do not know very much about the coworker but they bought him from a breeder. At the time they were leaving to go out of state and for some reason couldnt take him.Unfortunately I am young myself and have a dog of my own and struggle to find the time to take care of them myself. (My father has just recently been wheelchair bound) I have the documentation from his breeder. Also he is unfixed but if that is a problem I'm in a position to pay for that prior to adoption. Bo is a very friendly and carefree dog, and will get along with others nicely. However he has been very reactive with cats/small creatures. I was told this is a chase drive and could potentially be trained out of him. He reacts very well to a shock/noise/vibrate collar. But, I do not have the time, experience or funds for training. Right now he deserves better than I can give him.

Story
Sam is a Husky/German Shepard/Lab mix. A BIG ole mutt. He is energetic, happy, sweet and cuddly. He is almost a year old and has tons of love to give. He is crate trained and house trained and he is used to walking with a harness on. He needs a family that will love on him and give him all the attention in the world. He is super sweet and will literally topple you with his love if you aren’t ready for it. He is smart and can be trained. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to give him the support he needs especially now since we are relocating to somewhere much smaller. We cannot take him with us. He is a 85lb dog so please understand he is a very very big boy. He is fixed and has all vaccines. He loves to play tug and fetch. He enjoys peanut butter and dental sticks. He has some situational anxiety but otherwise he is a very good boy. He rarely barks but as a big dog it is a big bark when he does.
