Story
Bear is a sweet, soulful 7-year-old boy who found himself in our care after being surrendered due to symptoms of a medical condition that is now being properly treated. Moving forward, Bear will need to remain on a kidney-support diet for the rest of his life, along with a daily supplement to help support his kidney function and slow further damage. With these needs met, Bear is doing well and ready for his next chapter.Bear is wonderful in many environments and does great with other animals and people of all ages. He adores affection, seeks out attention, and truly wants to be a treasured part of a family. Loyal, loving, and full of heart, Bear still has so much life left to live, especially with a family who will spoil him and give him the comfort and care he deserves. Our dog adoption fee is $150 and includes their spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or stop by Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm-4pm to meet all of our adoptables.

Story
Thanks to a generous sponsor the adoption fee has already been paid. So with an approved application this doggy can go home with you for free. Drake is a male German Potato mixed doggy who is about 8 years old. This energetic, smart shepherd mix loves to stay active and enjoys having something to do. He’d thrive with a family who can keep him engaged with walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. Drake has plenty of love to give and is ready to bring enthusiasm and loyalty into his forever home. He is described as a 'Busy Bee'. I’m a naturally playful, curious, and trusting canine. Take me for a big walk every day; give me something to do. After my job’s done, I’ll curl up in front of the fire with you in the evenings. (Externally motivated). It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction. All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young). Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. . Cats will be vaccinated against feline distemper and feline parvo, and have been wormed. . All animals will be bathed and treated for fleas/ear mites. Microchipping will take place at the time of adoption. Adoption fees: Cats - $105 for one or only $150 for two! Story
Fall in love in February. For the entire month, all dogs and cats are only $14.00! So with an approved application, you can take your new Valentine home. Bear is a male German Shepherd mixed doggie who is about 3 years old. I’m always curious, always ready to go, and always happy to be by your side. I’m the kind of guy who likes to stay active and engaged. I enjoy having a job to do, learning new things, and being part of the action. Once I bond with you, I’m all in—loyal, loving, and ready to give my whole heart. I know my family is out there somewhere. Maybe you’re looking for a best friend, a partner for adventures, or a dog who will love you forever. If that’s you, I’m ready when you are. He is described as a 'Busy Bee'.
