We got her at 12 weeks old from a family on a farm in Iowa. She is now 8. She lived with a lab mix from age 2-6. She has never lived with a cat but has met one and mainly ignored her. She really enjoys being wherever we are and playing fetch with sticks. She also loves lakes/the river. She is a timid but obedient dog. She has anxiety but we believe it is from her not getting enough exercise and focus. She is scared of strangers. She gets her nails trimmed regularly. She doesn’t get carsick. She was not formally trained, but knows basic commands. She is currently wearing a tailsaver due to her pulling out her hair due to anxiety and making it raw. Her tail is permanently missing hair at the end. We have a 17 month old & she has never been aggressive with her. She will get up and move if she is tired of our daughter. We’d love her to go to an individual/family who is active, will take her on regular walks, has a yard, and wants to incorporate her to all aspects of life.

The dog is very lovable. She can sit, lay down, shake hands and sometimes stay. Lots of personality. She’s been around kids but not a lot. She did good, she played with them. Has been around some dogs. She did good with certain dogs. There was some dogs she didn’t get along with. She is food aggressive towards other animals but hasn’t had any issues with humans. I’m not able to take care of her do to health reasons. Daisys 5 years old, can be very loyal, she loves to run play.

Meet Clover! This handsome almost 6-month-old, 60-pound German Shepherd mix is looking for his forever family. Clover was adopted as a young puppy but sadly returned when things didn’t work out with a small child in the home. True to his breed, Clover is energetic, athletic, and incredibly smart. He’ll thrive with structure, boundaries, and continued training. At the rescue, he’s shown a sweet and submissive side, and he gets along well with other dogs. He absolutely loves walks, playtime, and soaking up attention. We believe Clover is house trained, and with his intelligence and eagerness to learn, he’s sure to be a quick study in his new home. Because of his energy and shepherd nature, Clover would do best in a home with older children (if any) and a family ready to give him the guidance, activity, and love he needs to grow into his full potential.
