Through no fault of her own, she found herself confused, heartbroken, and wondering what she did wrong. But the truth is — she didn’t do anything wrong.Despite all the changes, Athena’s heart remains open. She’s sweet, incredibly gentle with kids, loves other dogs, and adores being near her people. She’s house trained, knows her commands, and if you throw her favorite ball, she’ll light up with joy you can see from a mile away.What Athena wants most is simple: a family to love her forever. Someone who will let her snuggle close, who will throw that ball a hundred times, who will remind her every single day that she’s home — for good.Athena’s loyalty is endless. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
