Meet Rio!**Rio is a delightful Black German Shepherd, estimated to be around 10-12 months old. With his sleek black coat and bright eyes, he’s a striking young dog full of life and energy.Rio has a particular fondness for water; whether it’s a pool, a lake, or a simple hose, he can’t get enough of splashing around. His playful nature makes him a joy to be around, and he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Rio’s friendly demeanor extends to people of all ages, including children, making him an excellent companion for families.Despite his playful and loving nature, Rio’s journey hasn’t been entirely smooth. He was picked up as a stray, but his resilient spirit shines through. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
