He is a great dog and we took him in as a young puppy. He is a great dog just extremely hyper and energetic and is too much for our current family situation. He does well woth cats and other dogs as long as introduced properly and given time to adjust. We have three toddlers who He has done good with and tries to play with but sometimes he gets overly excited and forgets his size but has never intentionally harmed another human of any age.

Story
Hi! I’m Milo, a 6 month old little boy. I’m a bit timid at first, but once I get to know you, I’ll never leave your side! I’m a pretty laid back guy who really enjoys cuddling up in your lap. I’m very food motivated, but I'm not very interested in toys yet. I’m not quite housebroken, but I am learning! I'm also working on kennel training with my fosters. I’m not the biggest fan of it yet, but I sleep the through the night in it just fine; it just takes me a second to get settled in. I’m a little timid with other dogs, but I warm up quickly. I get along really well with my cat friend. I'm also learning to love the outdoors; it just takes me a little bit to get used to it - and I'm more willing to go if I'm with friends. If you’re looking for a laid back, cuddly boy, I would be the perfect match for you! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our application here: http://www.rchsks.org/our-animals/adopt-a-pet/adopting-a-dog. By filling out the application you are not committing yourself to adopting; it's a screening process that must be completed before you meet the dog. Please do this BEFORE calling. Our voicemail is only checked periodically and you can reach us much faster via dog-coordinators@rchsks.org. Thank you!

Petie, derived from Greek name meaning rock or stone. Let me be your rock. I am here to listen when you need to talk to someone. I will kiss away your tears when you are sad or scared. I will protect your castle when you are away. I am a sweet boy who LOVES affection. Belly rubs are wonderful! Ear and rump scratches are a close second. This is a new place, and I will act timid at first. But when I warm up, you will see the wonderful dog that I am. Please make an appointment to visit me SOON!!
