Story
Hello, my name is Mark but my close friends call me “Good Boy!”” I don’t remember what happened, but I am very scared of just about everything. I’m not a lost cause though. I have lived in 2 different foster homes and I spent a lot of time at the hospital after I had hip dysplasia surgery. At each of these places I found someone that I felt safe with pretty quickly. Right now my foster home has other small dogs and I love following them around. They taught me that “do you wanna go outside?” was really fun. I have two nice little people (kiddlings) I live with and they think I’m a very cool guy. They feed me and I listen to them when they ask me to stop licking, I just like to let them know I think they are pretty cool too. Because I am so anxious/scared, I take medicine every single evening. I will probably be taking this my whole life. I’m ok with this because it means I get a treat every time I get my medicine. I would really like to find my forever person. My idea is someone who is a homebody that doesn’t get a lot of different visitors and wants a nice warm doggie head on their lap. Another dog or two would be great and I don’t really mind cats. Please consider giving me a chance to be your “best boy ever”. It will probably take a couple of months before I’m totally comfortable but I promise I will get there eventually. Salem is a fun, excited playmate who needs a home that can take care of his needs as a puppy. Unfortunately, we welcomed twins into our family recently and Salem does not get the care, affection and play time he deserves. Salem is working on potty training still and has not quite mastered holding his bladder overnight and still has a few accidents in the house. He is about 13 weeks old. No issues with other dogs but likes to play too rough with your typical house cat. Salem is crate trained. Salem loves kids and does well with our 7 year old and 10 year old nephews. He is a little too rambunctious for our twin babies.
