When her owner passed away, Annie stayed faithfully by her side for four days until help arrived. She was then taken to a high-kill shelter, where her future was uncertain — until one of our amazing fosters stepped up to give her a second chance. Annie is the definition of a good girl. She’s great with dogs, cats, and kids. She’s potty, crate, and leash trained, but also does wonderfully free roaming and isn’t destructive. Annie enjoys quiet naps, gentle walks, and just being near her people. She’s calm, gentle, and carries herself with the kind of grace that only a wise old soul can. A fenced yard is required for Annie’s safety, as she enjoys exploring and soaking up the fresh air. 📍 Located in Lexington, Kentucky 💰 Adoption fee: $250 Annie is fully vetted and ready to find a family who will love her for the rest of her days. I know, it sounds like I’m old, but I swear I still have some spunk left! I love to hang out with my people and I’m happiest when I’m with them.
