Story
Named after the talented actress from Stranger Things, Miss Sadie is a beautiful 2–3-year-old German Shepherd with brains, drive, and tons of potential. At about 50 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized Shepherd who’s ready to find a committed, experienced home to help her shine. Sadie is house trained, crate trained, and walks pretty well on leash. She knows sit, shake, and down, and with her high intelligence and eagerness, she would truly benefit from continued obedience training. This smart girl loves to stay busy — playing with toys, squeaking her ball, running in the yard, and playing fetch (or keep-away!) are some of her favorite things. After playtime, she’s happy to relax with a good bone and lounge near her people. Sadie has a confident personality and prefers to be the boss with other dogs. Because of her energy and drive, she requires a fenced yard where she can run and play safely. Kids and cats are currently unknown. German Shepherd experience is strongly preferred, as Sadie will thrive with an owner who understands her breed and can help guide her into becoming the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Sadie is incredibly intelligent, full of potential, and ready to bond deeply with her person. With the right home, she is going to be something truly special. 💛 Sadie’s adoption fee is $250. Story
Hi there, I’m Honey! Have you been dreaming of finding the most loyal, affectionate, loving, and playful companion ever? If so, I'm the perfect pup for you! I’m a silly, super-snuggly pup who lives for belly rubs, giving kisses, and literally smiling with sweetness and joy! I was rescued from a heartbreaking situation; before BFP saved me, I was living outside every day tied up to a car in a parking lot. Now that I'm safe, I am soooooo excited to give all of my love to all of the nice humans that I meet! Once I trust you, I'll make you the center of my universe and spend every day adoring you and acting like your little shadow. At night, I'd love to curl up in bed with you for cuddles! And if you’re looking for an adventure buddy, I’d be so excited to be your pup! I do amazing in the car and would love to be your co-pilot for outings, weekend drives, hikes, and little adventures—then come home and cozy up right beside you for snuggles. Despite my ruff start in life, I’m still the sweetest angel pup around and truly just want to be loved. My biggest wish is to find a forever home that will cherish me for the rest of my life. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who’s equal parts playful, cuddly, and devoted, I'm your perfect match! Could you be my furever family? 🐾💛 📍 My Location: TULSA, OKLAHOMA - but I can be transported ANYWHERE in the USA! Please note: Third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed above! Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter can travel to the animal’s current location for pickup. Story
Meet Newton! This sweet boy came to us in terrible condition, thankfully he has made a great recovery and is now ready to find his forever home! Newton is a German Shepherd that is around 7 years old and weighs around 80 pounds. Newton is such a good boy and has spent the past few weeks recovering in a wonderful foster home. His foster family has nothing but good things to say about Newton. Newton is housebroken and is good with kids but older would be best. Newton is good with cats but does like to chase them. Newton is good with other dogs, and does have a foster brother who is his bestie. We do require a dog intro with any future k-9 siblings to make sure everyone gets along. Newton is up to date on his vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped & neutered! Newton did come to us missing most of his fur, so much has come back in! Newton is on daily medications for his skin(apoquel) which he will most likely have to be on for the remainder of his life. If you are interested in making Newton a part of your family please click on the link below to fill out an adoption application! https://form.jotform.com/253083676773165 *All adoptions are done by appointment only*
