Story
Meet Rex, a resilient and affectionate boy with a heart as big as his spirit. Rex was born with congenital megaesophagus, a condition that requires him to be fed upright in a Bailey chair so food can move safely into his stomach. He thrives on a high-quality, nutrient-dense diet—currently The Farmer’s Dog, which has been working well for him. Rex will need lifelong management, including special feeding routines, possible medications, and regular veterinary checkups to keep him feeling his best. While this condition may shorten his lifespan, Rex doesn’t let it dim his joy—he is a loving, social dog who delights in spending time with people and embracing each day with enthusiasm. Rex is looking for a dedicated adopter who can continue his care and give him the warm, supportive home he deserves. *Bailey chair will be sent home when adopted* - Around 3 years old - Currently just under 70lbs - Good with kids, prefers a slow introduction to dogs and cats. - Adoption fee: $350 To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Include information about your family and pets, what you are looking for in a canine companion, how you plan to exercise and train this dog, and why this specific dog seems like a good fit for your family. Those who provide the previous information will be considered first for this canine. Please do NOT call our center. This will help us match you and the animal the best we can. We usually respond via email within 24-48 hours; please check your spam folder if you don't hear from us. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.

Story
Xena was adopted from Riverside county animal shelter in Riverside, CA in September 2016. We believe she’s about 9 years old. She’s sweet and cuddly. She loves to watch TV, lounge around, and run around in the morning and evening. She’s has always lived with at least one other dog. She’s been around babies and young kids and has always been so gentle with them. Xena has always been up to date with all vaccines, and we’ve been told she’s in great health. She has no health concerns. We’ve also been taking care of her teeth by brushing them and giving her dental chews. She’s does come with a dog bed, some dog food, treats, and her vaccines for 2026.

Story
This is Loki, he is a 3 year old german shepherd. He is a very smart, curious, energetic, confident boy. He loves playing tug of war and fetch. He knows basic commands; sit, down(or lay), stay, turn around, back up. He also knows to lay down and wait for your okay to go and eat when being fed. Overall he is a good boy but needs more space to run around and get out of the apartment scene. I have had Loki for a little while now and due to me moving i have to find him a new home or foster him, or else i will be forced with giving him to the pound, I am willing to discuss the adoption fee.

Story
Hi there, I'm Honey! Have you been dreaming of finding the most loyal, affectionate, loving, and playful companion ever? If so, then I'm your perfect match! I'm a silly and super sweet pup who loves belly rubs, ear scratches, and giving kisses! I was rescued from a heartbreaking situation; until being rescued by BFP, I was living in an apartment building's parking lot, tied up to a car 24/7. Despite going so long without the care and love I deserved, I'm making up for lost time now by making fast friends with every person I meet! My biggest wish is to find a forever home who will love me for the rest of my life-- oh, and my friend, Gucci, wants to come, too! Gucci and I were rescued from the same rough circumstances, but, he's just as sweet and cuddly as me. We are an adorable, joyous, and snuggly pair and we can't wait to find a family who will cherish us! Could that be you? 🏡 My Home’s Requirements: I'm looking for a home that can welcome both myself and the pup I am bonded to; Gucci! View my bonded fur friend here: https://new.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/BFP-A-62120 📍 My Location: LOS ANGELES, CA Please note: Third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed above! Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter can travel to the animal’s current location for pickup. If you’re interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ For questions, email the Beagle Freedom Project team at: adopt@bfp.org About Beagle Freedom Project: Beagle Freedom Project is the world’s leading organization for rescuing and rehoming animals used in experimental research.
