Hey Friends! My name is Heidi, and I’m a Pure-Bred German Shepherd, and I don’t like to think of myself as a senior, rather a señorita! You see, I just celebrated my 10th birthday, and I definitely didn’t see myself spending here at the shelter, but my shelter friends helped me make the best of it. My owner unfortunately got into a little bit of trouble, and he had to bring me into the shelter so that I could find a new home. Things you should know about me, I’m not a puppy, so chewing up your shoes, your clothes, all that stuff is way behind me. I’m potty trained, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on my heartworm testing. I’m looking for a place I can call my retirement home. I enjoy lounging around, taking walks, and life at a slower pace. I might enjoy living with another doggo friend, provided I meet them first and we get along. I’m not sure about cats, I don’t remember if I’ve ever lived with any, but with some time and a proper introduction, I might do well. If you’re looking for someone to spend some lazy sunny afternoons, and leisurely walks with, I’m your girl! Come meet me at the shelter Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm. I am a single parent working only part time and in college, I didn't want to get these dogs to begin with but at that time I had a very abusive boyfriend that decided to bring them home and when I finally was able to get rid of the boyfriend he didn't take any of his pets. I don't have time for these dogs they are stuck in the cage all day and night and I don't have money for vet appointments. They are up to date on their shots, Brother and Sister 1 year old. The female is fixed, male is not. German shepherd and Pitbull mixed. They are good dogs, they love to play together and love to play in water and will jump right into a kiddie pool to play. I have food, toys, a dog bed etc to send with. They have never been separated but I understand if you just want one of them.

Gus and bear are brothers and we rescued them. They are great dogs but they need a home where they have more attention and time spent with them. We are an older couple and just aren't able to take care of them like they need to be taken care of. They are sweethearts and just need a lot of love and attention. They are great with kids and absolutely love our granddaughter. They are up to date on their shots and vet visits. I'm looking for a home that will keep that going and keep the love going

I adpoted this dog from a resuce, but down the line my landlord told me I couldn’t have a pet when I was previously told I could. He is only a couple months old, very friendly, but still learning how to play properly. So not mean, but a bit bitey. Very easy to train though, he learned sit, stay, and cage the first day I got him.
