Whiskey is a 4 year old rescue with a big heart. He loves to play and explore, and he loves other dogs. Since he is a big guy (130 lbs), he would do better with someone experienced with big dogs and some space to move around. He is good with adults, older kids, and with most cats. His favorite things are chewing a bone, running around with his friends at the dog park, and laying in a sunny spot in the grass. I am moving to a big city and have restrictions on space / breed / size, so I sadly cannot take him with me. Help me find my big guy a home!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $175 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $105.00. Meet Heidi Heidi is a beautiful sable German Shepherd, estimated to be 2–3 years old and weighing around 75 pounds. Strong, intelligent, and full of energy, she would make an amazing jogging or activity partner for someone with an active lifestyle.  She is fully potty-trained and enjoys learning, especially when treats are involved! Heidi loves her chew toys and thrives in a stable environment where she can get regular exercise and attention. Because of her size and strength, Heidi would do best in a home without young children, cats, or small dogs. She prefers to be the only pet, though a calm, well-matched canine companion could be considered with proper introductions and gentle play. She can tolerate short periods in a crate but is happiest when she has space to move and be part of the family. Heidi is friendly with people and ready to bond with someone who can provide the structure, love, and activity she needs. Think you might be the perfect match? “Hey there, I'm Sammie! I am a social butterfly who loves every dog I meet and really hope my future home has other pups to play with! In my foster home, my favorite times are snuggle time, playtime, and dinner time! I'm a pro at cleaning my plate. I am a bit curious about the resident kitty in my foster home, but I promise I've never been anything but polite! I'm well versed in 'sit' and adore a game of fetch. Give me a backyard, and I'll run myself into nap time. I've made many furry and human friends in my foster home, and they all seem to think I'm great!
