You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $175 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $105.00. Dogs will require a fenced yard. 5-year-old Max is a German Shepherd looking for a loving furever home. He is sweet and may be a little shy around new people and new dogs, but warms up quickly. He has lived with another large dog and humans (male and female) in the past. Has never shown aggression. He's very sweet and has a calm and chill nature. Molly really wants a family to share the rest of her life with. She is very sad her owner who she loved dearly died and now she's back with the rescue she originally came from. She has no idea where her owner has gone or why everything she was familiar with is gone. Molly is really a good girl and still has a lot of life in her. She's house, leash and crate trained. In her previous life, she was groomed routinely, on Pro Heart 6 for heartworms and current on all vaccines. We found a pregnant dog, and she had seven puppies around the middle of July 2025. This is one of the puppies. He is a good, very loving dog. He is the alpha of the pack. When he was a puppy, he would hug my hand. Now that he's bigger, he still tries. He knows the sit and no commands most of the time. He knows to go to the bathroom on a pee pad, but we cannot keep them in the house to fully potty train. He would be a good addition to anyone's household.
