Story
Meet adorable Lola. At 2 years old she is all puppy. She is shy and timid at first because she hasn't had a lot of life experiences yet, but once she warms up, it's game on. She loves to play ball and would be great at agility. Lola wants to please her people very much, and she bonds hard with her favorite humans. Lola is good with other dogs, and is working on her doggy manners. She is truly a beautiful dog, and her one floppy ear is so endearing. Lola is not a fan of young children or cats so a feline free home with older kids would be best for our princess. Please fill out our online application if you are interested in possibly making Lola a member of your family.

Story
This is Lenny. Lenny was found as a stray. He managed to end up on a good Samaritan's doorstep in the blazing hear of July. The good Samaritan, who took him in and not only gave him food and water but after searching for weeks for his owner, took it upon herself to get him neutered, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and even had a few benign tumors removed before asking Rescue to take him. Lenny is probably about 8 yrs old but is a very healthy senior. He's learning to trust and also learning about boundaries. He will need an experienced family without small children. He is figuring out how to be part of a family and deserves to spend the rest of his life being loved

Skye: Meet our little pocket sized shepherd mix, Skye. We acquired Skye when her human was a victim of domestic violence and could no longer care for her. Skye is a great dog, who is very smart and does well in the home without having to be crated. She loves to play ball, and knows some basic commands. Skye is very protective of her people and home, so she will need an experienced home that can let her know that she is not in charge. Skye also needs a home without cats. Please fill out our online application if you are interested in meeting Skye.

He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once he knows you'll play with him, it's game on! We are working on some leash manners and basic obedience with him now. Lobo is great around the little dogs and cats too. But little kids are kind of scary to him! Don't wait to put in your application on lanky Lobo! He won't be around for long!!!

Story
We found Callahan roaming the neighborhood one morning in October, he came to us but was obviously anxious and lost. We took him to the vet where they found no microchip and gave him his vaccines (he needs his boosters at the moment). After searching and posting him online for months we’ve determined that he was probably abandoned. He is the sweetest senior (about 7yo), he loves affection and attention from his caretakers but doesn’t give much heed to cats and other dogs. He still has a lot of energy and wants to be loved! He likes to spend his time napping with his soccer ball or going for walks.

Story
We found this boy on January 22. We've named him Moose. We believe he's about 4 years old. He's very friendly with people. Loves to play and loves belly scratches. He's potty trained, knows basic commands, goofy, and will talk to you when he wants to play or needs to go potty. He is quiet at night though. He is also great with Nail trims and anything to do with his feet (he gets goat heads in his paws and sits still so we can get them out). He is not good with other dogs or cats and we're not sure about kids. He's just a giant love bug though and we just don't have time as my husband and I both work 6 days a week sometimes. He's good on a leash as long as he doesn't see another dog. He comes with about food, a collar, leash, harness, treats, toys and a raised food and water dish, and 3 gallon water dispenser.

Story
Meet Kona. We rescued him from the euthanasia list because of his anxiety in the shelter. When we rescued him they told us he was given Trazodone when he was not handling the kennel well. We took him home and were pleasantly surprised with an extremely loving dog who enjoys being your shadow. He picks up commands well and proves to be a fast learner. Given his breed, he has a lot of energy and requires a lot of attention. Our grueling work schedules have made it difficult for us to believe we are providing enough for Kona physically and mentally. Unfortunately, due to his anxiety it is harder for him to be alone during the day. He is very smart, happy, and playful. He would 100% benefit from some adequate training. We work with him everyday to become a perfect companion for his forever home. We love Kona so much, and he is the most adorable alarm clock. However, we know it would be in his best interest to have a family, backyard, or person who can be with him more than we have.

When she first meets strangers, she barks at them. but once you are part of her family-especially if you throw a toy for her-she is very loyal and loving. She loves pets and being told how good she is , We would keep Ellie, but for my health reasons, we are moving back East to be close to family. We are having trouble getting a rental in our price range that allows dogs and has a yard.
