Story
🐾 Meet Esme — The Gorgeous German Shepherd Pup! 🐾 Esme is a stunning German Shepherd pup who’s almost a year old and new to us, currently settling into her foster home. She’s curious, sweet, and learning all about the world around her—including her foster siblings, with whom she’s doing great. Esme can be protective of her home, so she’ll need a family who understands her breed and is comfortable managing visitors. This may mean having her relax in a crate or a separate room when friends or unfamiliar guests come over. With structure and clear boundaries, this is very doable—and worth it, because Esme is truly precious. Rescued from a partner shelter, Esme is already spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. She’s smart, playful, and affectionate, with so much love to give to the people she trusts. 🐾✨

🧡 Darla 🧡 Darla is an absolute doll with a soft, submissive personality and the cutest little head tilt you’ve ever seen. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she finds her confidence, she warms up quickly and shows just how sweet and playful she really is. ✨ Potty trained ✨ Does fantastic in a crate ✨ Quiet and eager to learn ✨ LOVES toys ✨ Professional head tilter ✨ Great with dogs (especially smaller ones; warms up beautifully to bigger dogs) ✨ Seems to be fine with cats ✨ Mid-sized shepherd mix (photos make her look bigger!) Darla is still a puppy at heart and comes with some classic puppy quirks—she’s a bit of a counter surfer and occasional shoe thief—but she redirects beautifully and happily trades mischief for toys. She responds incredibly well to praise and treats, making her a dream to train. Darla is looking for a home ready to guide her, laugh at her puppy moments, and love her for the sweet, eager-to-please girl she is. Ready for toys, head tilts, and a loyal sidekick? Apply today. 🐶🧡

Story
Hello, my dog's name is Brownie. She is a 4 year old German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix. Brownie is a sweet girl. But, she can be nervous and overprotective. Brownie has a heart murmur. I already consulted with a cardiologist and had the ultrasounds done. She cannot get surgery, just daily medication to keep her heart healthy. It's only $16 a month. Brownie can be taken to doggy day care and doesn't mind the other dogs. But on walks, she can get protective when another big breed is walking by. Though, she doesn't care much for smaller breeds. We have 2 other dogs. Brownie is really smart, loyal and loving. It hurts my heart to give her up, but she deserves to be with someone that can give her the time she needs as she is a very active dog. Thank you for your time.

Story
Zuko is truly the goodest boy. He is a German Shepherd Husky mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for companionship. He is great with kids, enjoys meeting new people, and may get excited at first, but quickly settles down and just wants to be near his people. While Zuko enjoys walks, parks, hikes, and playtime, his favorite things are napping, lounging around, and spending quality time with his family. He is a relaxed, affectionate dog who loves cuddles and being part of everyday life. As much as we love him, our apartment and busy school schedules no longer give him the space and time he deserves. Zuko would thrive in a home where he has room to stretch out and, most importantly, people who can offer him consistent companionship and love. This decision comes from wanting the very best for Zuko and ensuring he finds a home where he can be happy, comfortable, and truly part of a family.

Story
🐾 Meet Corduroy: A One-of-a-Kind Companion Corduroy is thriving in foster care and has truly come out of his shell. Once shy and withdrawn, he’s now a happy, affectionate boy who loves soaking up every bit of love his humans can give. A volunteer favorite, Corduroy lives for snuggles, gentle play, and simply being by your side. This special boy needs to be the only dog in the home. He has had challenges with other dogs in the past, so his forever family must be committed to giving him all the love without competition. Corduroy also does best with someone around most of the time—he craves companionship and will miss you when you’re gone. While he can stay in a crate, he shouldn’t be left alone all day. Corduroy is fully obedience trained, loves playing catch, and will happily give kisses or gently place his paw in your hand. A yard would be ideal for chasing balls or just lounging in the sun. At SNARL, we believe Corduroy is truly one of the most special dogs in our care. He deserves a family who will embrace him—quirks and all—and give him the love he so deeply wants. Until that perfect match comes along, he’s enjoying foster life and waiting patiently for his forever home.
