Story
Nova is about 4 years old. We’ve had her a little over 3 years- we found her and turned her into the shelter and decided to adopt her. For Nova I would feel more comfortable if she were an only dog. She’s really good with teenagers, she hasn’t been around toddlers or babies - Nova is very sweet girl but needs a lot of exercise, is extremely reactive to other dog, not too bad with people . Is constantly on alert, she never seems at peace or able to chill. Nova needs an experienced and active adopter who can fulfill her needs - i feel as though we are not the right family or active enough for her. She is a sweet dog and deserves a better and more fulfilling life. Nova has had a few instances where she was reactive towards other dogs and feel like she would not do well with other dogs in home - unless the new parent is experienced in training. We’ve reached out to animal foundation, currently wait for response.

Story
From Desert Sands to Warm Blankets: Meet Emily 🌵✨ They say some of the toughest flowers bloom in the desert, and Emily is proof of that. A few days ago, this 10-week-old Shepherd/Husky mix was found fighting for her life in the cold desert alongside her brother, Buddy. They were shutting down and losing hope, but a little warmth, good food, and a lot of love can do wonders. Today, Emily is a completely different girl! She has officially traded survival mode for "puppy mode," and she is absolutely overflowing with life. Being a Shepherd/Husky mix, Emily is as smart as she is beautiful. She’s a 10-week-old bundle of curiosity who is ready to learn everything the world has to offer. Whether she’s practicing her first "sit" or discovering what a squeaky toy does, she approaches everything with a wagging tail and a brand-new lease on life. Emily is looking for a family who will continue her "glow-up." Because she’s a smart, active breed, she’ll love having a human who wants to go on adventures and keep her clever mind busy. To make sure she starts off on the right paw, her adoption includes basic training group classes—the perfect way to bond with your new desert rose! Emily has overcome the hardest part of her journey; now she just needs the best part—a forever home. Ready to show Emily that the world is a warm, loving place? Apply to adopt her at PawsitiveDifference.org or send an email to adopt@pawsitivedifference.org.
