Hey, would Bubba here, I am a full of energy and life pup. I came up from the south with my mom and brother. I have full throttle puppy energy, so I am looking for a home that is very active and has some kids that I could tear around the back yard with. I would be a great hiking/camping partner. My brother Forest is just as full of life and love as I am. Story
Hi there, I’m Ginni! 🐾 I’m basically a big-hearted marshmallow wrapped in a confident-girl exterior. Give me a little time to trust you, and boom! I become your loyal, room-to-room shadow faster than Santa dropping down a chimney. 🎅💛 New people? Yeah… I like to screen my applicants. Slow introductions, calm energy, and maybe a holiday cookie or two, and I warm up like cocoa on the stove. ☕💕 Now let’s talk toys. MY toys. 🧸🔥 I love them with the intensity of a kid on Christmas morning, so much so that I prefer to enjoy them without other animals trying to borrow them. I prefer dog friends who respect my boundaries and my toy empire. 👑🎁 The good news? I come pre-gift-wrapped with tons of training: ⭐ Crate trained ⭐ Housetrained ⭐ Muzzle trained ⭐ Expert in “goofy playtime” once I feel safe I like meeting new humans and dogs slooowly — think “Mariah Carey holiday ballad,” not “Black Friday rush.” Gotta make sure my first impressions stay sparkly. ✨😉 So if you’re dreaming of a smart, devoted, slightly bossy, toy-loving sweetheart who will love you fiercely once she’s settled… ❄️💓 Come meet me, Ginni — the perfect mix of festive charm, loyalty, and holiday-level coziness. 🎁🐶✨

Story
I have been known to shower my favorite people in love! I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles! I am a medium to high energy dog that LOVES to play fetch. It is my favorite thing in the whole world, aside from eating treats! Watch me play fetch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJREYwEZ-sk This handsome pup is originally from NYCACC - Queens and was a stray so we don't know much about his history; but I've found a few things Dobby loves - hanging out with his human friends; snacking on treats; and playing fetch! On our walks, I don't even need to call his name - I just stop and look at him, and in a few seconds, he's happily enjoying getting his back scratched. He's been just as social and lovey-dovey with other volunteers he's hung out with, too. Though we estimate Dobby to be 4 years old, he has this adorable puppyish look to him, making everything he does ten times cuter - like the way he happily munches away on treats, and how he catches the toy I toss and does a little gallop before carrying it to his bed for some playtime. Dobby knows cues like Sit, Come, Stay and Spin. Dobby is also very attentive and highly treat-motivated. He currently sleeps in the crate at night and whenever his fosters are not at home. If you're looking for an active, happy dog that will love you unconditionally, Dobby would be the perfect match for you! Dobby is vaccinated, neutered and also microchipped. He is believed to be a German Shepherd mix not only because of his appearance but also because he is so intelligent and loyal to the people he loves. Story
Kona is a 7 year old, 70 lb Shepherd mix and a shelter employee and volunteer favorite! This big girl has got personality! A lover of long walks, hikes, and treatos! She`ll give a paw or two for cookies. She loves everyone she meets and shes easy on the eyes.So what`s the catch? Why do dogs like Kona get overlooked? With great personality comes quirks sometimes. For Kona, it`s resource guarding. Simply put, in the past when she has decided something is hers... she has defended her ownership of it fiercely. Whether it be high value objects or food items.https://www.cognitoforms.com/griffinpondanimalshelter1/griffinpondanimalshelteradoptionapplicationfordogsGriffin Pond Animal Shelter 967 Griffin Pond RdSouth Abington Twp Pa 18411 Kennel License #2236That said, she has received some training to work with her resource guarding but would need to be continued in a new home. Her daily dog walkers speak volumes of her as being the easiest dog to walk in the entire kennel. As well as most affectionate! But remember , this is a controlled environment . She needs the same structure and routine in a home.Because of her past resource guarding, she would do best in a low traffic home without young children or other pets. Someone who has experience with canine resource guarding or can provide training for her would be of most benefit to her in a new home. Please give Kona the chance she deserves.
