Bailey is a sweet energetic puppy who loves people and other dogs. She’s a great, smart dog and very playful. She’s trained to go outside and on puppy pads. She is also crate trained. Because of my busy schedule and the fact that we live in an apartment, I realize that I am unable to meet her needs. I saved her from a home in the Bronx and wasn’t made aware that she was part German Shepherd and I feel guilty that I can’t provide the life she deserves for her energy needs. She would make an amazing addition to a loving family with a beautiful home that will allow her to be able to run and play and not spend most of her days in a crate. For her breed type and her energy level it is best for her to find a home with experience with a puppy like her.

Meet Lacy! She is a gorgeous 3 year old German Shephard mix that is down on her luck. Recently Lacy found herself in a crowded high kill shelter after being shot in the leg. A good samaritan called animal control who took her to the shelter and the person who reported it agreed to foster Lacy while she recovered. Our rescue stepped in to get her vetted and she is now healed from the leg injury and she is spayed, vaccinated, and micro chipped. Lacy did test positive for heartworms which is very treatable and the rescue will assist with this also. We are seeking a new home for Lacy asap as she cannot stay with the current foster very long. We have not been able to adequately test her with other dogs or children, so at this point we are looking to place her in a home as an only dog and with no small children until we learn more about her. This handsome young GSD mix named Benny narrowly escaped euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter. He was brought in after he suffered a foot injury (possibly hit by a bike or car). He ended up with a bone infection in his foot which has now been treated by the vet and is healing nicely. He should be out of the cast in about 2 weeks and he's feeling great. Benny is a happy dog, is very playful and good with people. We have not been able to test him with kids or other dogs or cats due to the injury. He is in a very temporary foster home and we need to find him a forever home quickly. He is 2 years old and 63 lbs. Fully vaccinated and will be neutered prior to adoption. Howdy Doody, Everyone! We are a litter of 7 "Texas Special" puppies found wandering around without our mama when we were about 2 months old, in a neighborhood in Atascosa, Texas. Thankfully, a good Samaritan rounded us up and reached out to 4 Little Paws Rescue for some help. We are now about 3 months old, staying in 3 different foster homes, and absolutely sweet, friendly, and adorable puppies, but what’s a Texas Special?... Who the heck knows! A couple of us look like Red Heeler and Terrier mix, but some look like German Shepherd mix, and truthfully, we are probably all of those breeds plus a few more, with perhaps a bit of Chihuahua mixed in, since this is Texas, LOL. Whatever our breed mix, we are a fantastic pack of puppies, happy, healthy, and playful, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find forever homes! I’m Tinga, a girl weighing 15.4 pounds, and my foster mom says I love to sit in her lap like a baby while gazing at her lovingly with my beautiful ginger eyes. I am starting to learn to walk on a leash and will look to you for instruction. I am a very smart girl, a bit mischievous, love bouncy balls and belly rubs, and I will do anything for a treat or kibble.
