Bmo is a very loving 2 year old dog. He loves playing fetch in the yard and the house. Bmo recently learned how to play "find" where he sniffs out one of his toys in the house and brings it back to be hidden again. Bmo is a high energy dog and requires someone who can give him the time and attention he needs. Bmo needs someone who has a strong personality, as he needs confidence building and someone who can correct his fearful reactivity. He knows basic commands: sit, wait, come, drop it, leave it, up, place, lay down, off, paw, and find. He is good on leash but is still working on recall so cannot be off leash. Bmo also has a suspected poultry allergy and has only been able to eat salmon based food, Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Sensitive Skin and Stomach salmon and rice formula. Bmo will thrive in a quiet home with limited cars coming and going, and a house without young children.

Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:) We are delighted to announce the upcoming arrival of tripod Vicki, a charming and energetic 8M old 40lbs puppy from Egypt, who will be joining our community of handicapped dogs in October. Vicki's history is marked by a traumatic experience, having been rescued from a dire situation involving a severely injured leg infested with maggots and pus, which required amputation to ensure her survival. Happily, Vicki has grown into a sweet and engaging companion, exhibiting strong attachment to her human family and displaying excellent compatibility with both people and dogs. All dogs are located in NY/NJ area All our puppies need puppy play dates/doggy facetime so we recommend homes with other pups or daily interactions to keep them tired out, happy and social.
