Story
Memphis is a ball of Energy. He absolutely loves playing with our other two dogs. Recommended he goes somewhere with a backyard because he will run around for as long as you let him. Memphis is good with adults and he will sit down and play with toys with our 1 year old son. He has never had an issue with him. But, he can be standoffish and weary of young kids he doesn’t know, mostly cus they have run up in his face to fast in the past. Memphis also has a case of food aggression. We have resolved the issue for us by feeding him separately and in his cage. I have hand fed him and he now tolerates me around his food but anyone else he will growl. Memphis is a good boy but needs somewhere where he can get his energy out and can have time for some good training. He’s smart and learns fast but as smart puppies do he is curious of everything.

Size

Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ghost is a 1 year and 8 month old purebred Shepherd. When we first brought him home, he was extremely timid and shy, but with time and consistent care he gained confidence. We have worked with him on basic training, and he knows commands such as sit, shake, other paw, down, and waiting for food. As Ghost became more comfortable, we began noticing increasing possessive behavior toward us as his owners. He struggles when attention is given to others, including each other or our other pets, and this behavior has escalated to aggression. He has chased our cats throughout the house, causing significant stress—two cats are now fearful and avoid coming out. Due to his strong “velcro” attachment, lack of the sense of personal space and possessiveness, his behavior has created safety concerns for my wife during pregnancy and for our baby. This decision is not due to finances or lack of care. We truly believe he’ll strive best in an only pet structured household.
