With one look from her big brown loving eyes will melt your heart. She somehow thinks she is a lap dog at times. She came to us out of a drug house with her sister. Her owner wanted to reclaim but was not able to pay for basic care or medical. She was starved, full of parasites and not fixed. All that has been taken care of and she is now thriving. Good with dogs, people and kids, not cats.

Application Link: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/ARH-A-256 Adoption fee is $360 All dogs are fixed, up-to-date on age appropriate shots and micro-chipped. Harlo has just recently been treated for heartworm and is now off her restrictions and boy is she happy about that. She is 100% shepherd. She has a decent amount of energy and is a very happy girl. She is house trained, crated trained and walks well on a leash. She is good with other dogs once she gets to know them if they are not too dominant. She needs to be the queen of the house but is not overbearing to submissive dogs. She is good with cats, hovers over them wondering what they are all about but does not harm them. She is about 2 years old and a little under weight right now at about 70lbs.

Story
Shadow is a wonderful, loving, energetic, happy, 5-year-old purebred black with tan German Shepherd. She absolutely loves car rides, especially when she gets to stick her head out the moon roof. She also loves to go on hikes, walks and runs. She behaves well on a leash or with a Julius K-9 style harness. Shadow is crate and house trained. We do not keep her in a crate, but she will go into her crate on command as needed. She knows basic commands and is very intuitive. Shadow would most likely be at home with active adults and older children (pre-teen to teen). She has never had an issue with younger children, but she has lived with older children. Recently, as our other younger male German Shepherd has gotten older they have started not getting along, so we feel she will be happier in a new home. We will provide a bag of dog food, leash, large crate and harness with her adoption. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Story
Axel came to us after my boyfriend’s uncle passed away. He had lost his wife and thats when he got the dog. He is almost 3 years old and full of energy. He is trained to work and constant brain stimulus. The previous owner was a retired army veteran was home most of the time. We didn’t plan on getting a second dog and as much as we love him I find that he would be better in a less busy household. My American bully does great in our house but I am learning that GSD are very different. He gets along with my other dog but they are male and female so they act like brother and sister. Not sure how he would do with another male. We also have cats and he tries to jump at them but backs away when they hiss. Axel loves pets and belly rubs but does not like feeling trapped, hanging around his neck, or being picked up. He likes his personal space rather than cuddles. He is trained and we have been working with him on and off a leash. Along with other commands to benefit him in his next home.

Story
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have to rehome my puppy. Roma is a very loyal and loving girl. She knows basic commands such as, sit, paw, sit pretty, and uses a bell to let you know if she needs to go outside. She is crate trained. She does bark and whine at times. She can be hesitant with new people. Men she is very wary of and needs patience and to come around in her time. Once she does, she’s loving just as with anyone else. Roma has such a playful personality and loves to spend time with her family. She gets SO excited when they come home. She can piddle at times when excited, but has gotten better with age. She would do better with larger breeds if there are other dogs in the home. Cats she is okay with, she just likes to follow them around. She needs some work with leash training, but has been catching on quick to what I, the owner, have taught her. She catches on quickly! She is a great dog and companion to anyone lucky to have her!
