Meet Tanner- 86 pounds of pure sweetness! Tanner is a very smart boy who knows and responds well to several basic commands and hardly ever has accidents in his kennel. This gentle giant may be almost 7 years old but he still has plenty of pep in his step! He loves going on walks and does well on a leash. He's not much of a cuddler, but he loves a good scratch behind the ears and is the kind of dog who is happy to just be in your presence and hang out with you. He'll be by your side no matter what! Luna is a very sweet girl. She was surrendered to us after she got loose from her previous owner who worked long shifts as a nurse and didn’t feel she could give her a good home. Luna is a between 1.5-2.5 year old. She gets along with other dogs. She does ok with young children, would not recommend babies or toddlers. She can get very excited and can nip at small hands that are close to her height. Luna is crate trained(although once she got settled has been allowed to roam with the other dogs while we are away). She is potty trained. Luna is a highly intelligent dog, that is easily trained. She knows sit, stay, come, leave it, off, and is learning many new skills as well. She would likely thrive and accelerate in her training in a calmer environment than out busy home. Luna is a big snuggler, snuggling is her favorite pastime and she throughly enjoys getting petted and playing fetch in the yard.

Koda came into our home when he was just around eight weeks old. We’re his first and only owners. My son wanted him for companionship when he went on the road driving. He has since gained new employment and cannot take him, and with my work schedule I can no longer continue caring for him. We gave him lots of love and structure and this furry fellow just soaked it right up. Koda is energetic. Loves the outdoors (though he is kept indoors). He gets plenty of outdoor time in our fenced in backyard. His second favorite thing to do is play with toys. He’ll even take them outside if you let him. He loves attention, rubs, and affection. He is housebroken and crate trained. Up to date on shots and is on a monthly flea, tick, and heart worm preventative.

Eclipse came to us out of a drug house with her sister. Her owner wanted to reclaim but was not able to pay for basic care or medical. She was starved, full of parasites and not fixed. All that has been taken care of and she is now thriving. Good with dogs, people and kids, not cats.

Axel came to us after my boyfriend’s uncle passed away. He had lost his wife and thats when he got the dog. He is almost 3 years old and full of energy. He is trained to work and constant brain stimulus. The previous owner was a retired army veteran was home most of the time. We didn’t plan on getting a second dog and as much as we love him I find that he would be better in a less busy household. My American bully does great in our house but I am learning that GSD are very different. He gets along with my other dog but they are male and female so they act like brother and sister. Not sure how he would do with another male. We also have cats and he tries to jump at them but backs away when they hiss. Axel loves pets and belly rubs but does not like feeling trapped, hanging around his neck, or being picked up. He likes his personal space rather than cuddles. He is trained and we have been working with him on and off a leash. Along with other commands to benefit him in his next home.
