Story
Meet Schatzi!!!! I'm a beautiful girl GSD who loves people of all ages and sizes! If I lick you, you then belong to me and I'll protect you from cats, dogs and opossums. If you take me on a walk you better have strong arms! I love playing with toys, catching the ball & rolling around on beds and couches to get belly rubs all while sharing my GSD glitter(fur)with you! I did fine with ducks and chicken but my foster mom didn't let me stay with them too long since I drank out of the duck pool and tried getting in. I already know how to look here, sit and come. My foster mom was teaching me sign language and lay down and leave it. So I will get better manners around other animals. I'm potty & crate trained and put myself to bed. I'm available for adoption at the SSAW!!! Schatzi is a sweet, smart girl. She is an active girl who loves to run. She knows sit and loves treats. She is overly interested in cats and would probably do best in a home without cats or small animals.

Story
Gypsy came to us as a stray and never reclaimed. This playful girl is a bundle of joy to be around. While at the shelter she was kenneled with several different dogs and never had any issues. Plus she gives THE best hugs. Foster mom says, "She loves going to the doggie park and is such a foodie. My favorite trait about her is that she's a big hugger - she loves to hug you by wrapping her paws around you as well as lick and gently nibble at your ear, it's very sweet. As much as she loves to cuddle she also appreciates her own space. When she's napping on the couch and we sit down, she immediately moves to the other couch to give space. She's also very smart and mischievous but she's always sorry when she's caught. She's almost mastered potty training and will do great continuing on her training. She's got a lot of energy and love to give - anyone who would like to meet her would be smitten by her sweet disposition. She hardly ever barks and she doesn't pull on walks. She's very chill during her walks but runs wild at the doggie park.

Story
You might be looking at me wondering, What breed is that pretty girl? Well, Im actually a rare breed known as a Canine Lovebuginus. If you dont know Latin, thats a dog who loves belly rubs, kisses, snuggles and kibbles. And thats me! So put away those DNA tests and take me home and love on me!Call 918-264-8744 to schedule a time to meet me, or fill out the application to get pre-approved at https://garcok.org/pet-application/ Im sweet and gentle in nature even though I havent always been treated well. As a pup on the street, I was thin, malnourished, and frightened, wandering North Tulsa, hungry and abused. A good Samaritan started feeding me, until I finally let them lead me indoors. Then, they called Grace Animal Rehab Center. I was pretty much skin and bones, but slowly, with much love and nutritional food, they brought me up to my ideal weight.Ive learned to love living indoors and being a pet, but I'm a bit skittish around strangers because of my past life when people werent kind. If you adopt me, GARC will guide you on how to ease that in a very short time.

Story
Theo's owner passed away and he is needing a new home. He takes a minute to adjust to new people. Adopting Theo will require you to come to the rescue a few times to meet and spend some time getting to know Theo and let him get comfortable with you. Once Theo has accepted you, he is a loyal companion. He has a solid temperament and listens well. Theo gets along very well with other dogs. Being a working dog breed he will need a home that knows the breed and can provide and active life style.
