Story
Stormy is a beautiful puppy, she is potty trained, she is leash trained, she knows sit, lay down, she has learned to unlatch the gate on our back porch, shes up to date on shots, approximately 7-9 months old, loves constant attention, she wants to be laying next to someone, she's very playful, she doesn't show signs of aggression, her faults are she has nipped 3 kids broke the skin on 1 kid all incidents occur when they are on their swing sets( she has bruised their calves) she has nipped at them (not made contact) while they are on their hoverboards or bicycles, she lovea kids as long as they are not on these things. she has bit at an adults leg while he was using a push mower. She needs someone who has time and patience, she loves cats so much it is annoying, she has to be touching them or she will be whimpering nonstop and follows them through the house and won't stop until the cat falls asleep and she gets to sleep next to them. She has a huge separation anxiety issue.

Story
-Written by Raydar, a 2-year-old, 75lb male German Shepherd. --------------------------------------------- I shouldn't be here today...and if not for a guardian angel I wouldn't be here. I was never supposed to make it out of the shelter, and all because I was unwanted. I had been abandoned by the people I thought loved me, and when they never came for me I almost lost my life. I didn't ask to be behind bars. I didn't ask to be abandoned. I didn't ask to be homeless. I didn't ask to have my last few days on earth be behind bars. I was only two years..dangit! I wasn't ready to say goodbye to everything. I had no idea how to save myself though. In fact, I couldn't. I had never felt so hopeless. I couldn't do anything but watch the clock tick by behind bars. The shelter had tried networking me though, and someone amazing saw me. She saw a dog that would be as loyal as they come. She saw a dog that would make her smile. She saw a dog that deserved a second chance and just like that everything changed! She took me in, and then reached out to this rescue about helping me find a home. I now not only have an amazing foster home, but a whole fluffy butt village standing behind me. Can you believe it? I went from having absolutely nothing...to having just about everything! The only thing missing now is my forever family, but I am hoping that I will be finding them very soon!

Story
Written by Major Tom, a 12-week-old 16lb male German Shepherd. -------------------------------------------- Major Tom here! I came to PPFT with my three siblings Stardust, Ziggie, and Mars after we found ourselves in the shelter! I know that I am still very young and have some growing to do, but so far it seems like I am going to be a pretty lazy dude. I will play and romp around for like 5 minutes then am ready for a nice long nap! You can get me to chase after toys, but getting me to bring them back to you is a different story! If you really want to get my attention, get me some of those stuffed or plush animals. I LOVE those! And I go crazy for squeaky toys so those are also a must in my new home. The hard chew toys and rope toys are just so...dull. I really haven't shown much interest in those so far. One of my other interests is playing with the other dogs, but I am not a huge player. While I think it would be awesome to have another doggie companion in my new home, I also believe that I would do well as an only dog if my new family were home a lot. I cannot say that I have met a cat yet. I would probably be curious at first, but as long as they aren't always doing zoomies all over the place and jumping on everything I would probably lose interest. I am being fostered around kids and I often wonder where all their energy comes from?! I tend to just watch them while they go crazy and play. I do love it when they come over and give me pets and belly rubs. I am pretty much potty trained already and seem to be kennel trained. I am given free roam of part of the house with access to a doggie door and do well. Given that I am so young, it is hard to say exactly what my ideal home would be. I am a pretty lazy guy so far so would probably enjoy a calmer family that can still commit to exercising me...I am still just a pup after all! ;) While I have never been on a hike, I have heard tales about it from the other dogs and I really don't think that would be my thing. If I had to, I would do it for you but would probably keep dreaming about my dog bed at home. I will happily walk up to and greet new people, but if they aren't paying me attention I am out of there. What do you say? Think we are meant to be together? Apply for me at https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3 Please I am begging you though, only apply to adopt me if you can keep me forever. If you can't keep me through ALL of life's changes, don't take away my chance at forever with someone else. Please don't be the one that makes me have to be passed around a few months/years down the line because things got "ruff". That just isn't fair to me. I would NEVER give up on you, so please don't give up on me. I want to be your forever...not your until dog. --------------------------------------------- Application to adopt Major Tom https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3 Location: Broken Arrow, OK -Adopters must be able to pick up their new dog, no exceptions. Adoption Fee: $300 Includes: Two rounds of the DHLPP, Rabies, Bordetella, Fecal, Deworming, Heartworm Test, Micro-Chip, Neuter, and he will be current heartworm and flea/tick prevention. FROM HIS FOSTER MOM ↓ ~Like his brother, Major Tom enjoys a good stinky shoe as a snack and will clean your floors if you drop ANY food within seconds. This guy is the laziest couch potato I’ve ever met considering he’s a puppy so although I enjoy it, it might not be for everyone. He is a kind old soul and is vocal when he is jealous or doesn’t agree with something. Overall he’ll be a great pet in any situation but an older couple or even a lonely adult seeking a best friend is where this guy will thrive. Major Tom does really well with kids and other dogs. He would prefer a more calm home. He spends most of the day napping and cuddling. He’ll play for a little bit when his brother Mars pesters him enough but would much prefer to sit at my feet and watch all the chaos around him. And he’ll start barking when I pet other dogs because he’s jealous and he wants me to himself so I would think he would enjoy a home with maybe no other dogs or just one other dog. He definitely likes all the attention on him.~

Written by Ziggie, a 12-week-old 16lb male German Shepherd. -------------------------------------------- Ziggie here! I know we just met, but is it too forward of me to ask if you want to start forever together? I am the kind of boy that will accompany you on adventures outside the home, hikes, and follow you pretty much everywhere. I am also the kind of boy that will chill out with you and just relax after a long day. Whatever your lifestyle is, I am there for it. If you are active, let's go go go. If you are more chill, let's just hang out together! I will chase a ball, pick it up, and trot around with it, but won't bring it back yet. I am a toy dog and love playing with toys. My favorite toy right now is those balls that squeak, they are SO much fun! I do enjoy playing with the other dogs in my foster home, especially my sister Stardust! I love meeting new people, and would consider myself to be a social butterfly! I love when people dote over me and give me lots of pets and belly rubs! As long as I am let out often, I am pretty much potty trained. I am also kennel trained. I came to PPFT with my siblings Stardust, Major Tom, and Mars after we found ourselves in the shelter. How no one snatched us up right away there...I have no idea. Things worked out though because I am now in a loving foster home, and am very excited to find my forever family! What do you say? Think we are meant to be together? FROM HIS FOSTER MOM ↓ ~Ziggie has GORGEOUS German Shepherd markings- he is mostly black with brown legs, a brown tummy, and the traditional GS black spot in the center each brown cheek. Ziggie loves to follow his foster humans around the house and yard. He enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home, especially his sister, Stardust. Ziggie does well at coming inside/ outside when his fosters call for him. He is a very loving little puppy, and we hope he finds the best family who will spoil him rotten! He's a sweet, sweet little guy! Ziggie's ideal home would either have another dog for him to play with or a family who is home most of the day~

-Written by Stardust, a 12-week-old 13lb female German Shepherd. --------------------------------------------- Stardust here! If you are looking for an adorable, playful, and loving girl to join your family...you have found me! I came to PPFT with my siblings Mars, Major Tom, and Ziggie after we went unclaimed in the shelter. I would do well in a slightly more active home. I am a young puppy and love to play. I will chase tennis balls and carry toys around the yard. I also LOVE being pet and cuddled. I also believe that I am the kind of girl that would enjoy going on adventures with my new family outside the home, including going hiking. I may be young, but I already have the makings of a wonderful protector. I will bark at strangers and let them know that I am keeping an eye on everything. I have a very keen eye and when I am not playing am usually paying attention to what is going on around me. I am being fostered around other dogs and do great with them. If I don't know them, I may initially bark at them but once I realize all is okay I will soon be trying to befriend them! I am potty trained as long as I have a good potty schedule. I am also familiar with the kennel and do well in it. Do you think I am the girl for you? If so, let's find out! You can apply for me at https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3 Please I am begging you though, only apply to adopt me if you can keep me forever. She has adorable pointy ears! Stardust is a good watchdog and keeps a close eye on her brother, Ziggie. She will come to us when we call for her. Her favorite hobbies are: playing wtih her brother, eating meals/ treats, and getting lots of pets and cuddles from her foster family. She does well during baths in the tub. Stardust will make a sweet, wonderful pet for the family who adopts her. We love you Stardust! Stardust's ideal home would either have another dog for her to play with, or a family who is home most of the time. She is a young puppy and is so excited to explore the world!~
