Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ubba is ready for his forever home! ODAAT was contacted about a found dog stray, after research we were able to determine that the dog had recently been given away. This dog has been through it and deserves a committed family. He was born approx May 2020 and he is a GSD. He is very active and would love an active family. He loves toys, running and playing. He is great with kids! Because of his activity level we would prefer older children, 10+. He does great with other dogs and a home with someone to play with would be perfect for him. We would advise no cats as he does have a prey drive. He is extremely intelligent and eager to please. He is potty trained, up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. If you would like to welcome Ubba into your family, please apply at www.onedogatatime.us When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are ran prior to choosing an adopter.. This process takes time and we do not adopt out on a "first come first served" basis. Story
This is MACON! The handsomest 2 year old male who is a very striking breed of dog and dog. Seriously, we're not sure his breed but we know he'll be a larger pup and he's wonderful. Macon was found running down the middle of the highway in Macon County, was found by some kind souls who took him in. Macon loves other dogs and kids, but he has a bit too much energy for the good Samaritans that found him. He foster sister is a 13 year old Chi that Macon is very respectful to, but the Chi is a bit cantankerous and doesn't like to share. Macon knows his manners, caught on to the basics very quickly, he knows to sit, stay and other basic commands. He absolutely LOVES toys. His fosters say he could chase a tennis ball or frisbee forever (fetch level pro) but he does very well when let inside to cuddle on the couch too. If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!

Story
SAMMIE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    "Hey there, I'm Sammie! I am a social butterfly who loves every dog I meet and really hope my future home has other pups to play with! In my foster home, my favorite times are snuggle time, playtime, and dinner time! I'm a pro at cleaning my plate. I am a bit curious about the resident kitty in my foster home, but I promise I've never been anything but polite! I'm well versed in 'sit' and adore a game of fetch. Give me a backyard, and I'll run myself into nap time. I've made many furry and human friends in my foster home, and they all seem to think I'm great! I'm working on mastering the leash and to not bark, but I am getting into the crate when asked! If you have a couch and endless love to give, I'm ready to be yours!" He is 4 years old and 65 lbs. He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, and all shots including rabies shot. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Sammie up north after he is adopted.     To apply to adopt Sammie, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .     THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 22, 2025, 5:08 pm

Story
Buddy came from a kill shelter, very frightened and reactive. He never bit anyone, but he can be reactive when he is frightened. He gets along great with other friendly large-breed dogs, his best friend is a female Shepherd. He has adjusted to being at the kennel and is now much more comfortable being handled, he loves going for long walks and loves going out to the field and playing ball. He loves toys, eating and riding in the car. He is well mannered but needs an experienced person because he can get excited and reactive. He is a handsome, athletic dog who will be a wonderful active companion for a person experienced with high-energy large dogs.

Story
Ruger was rescued from a shelter - He is a handsome purebred German Shepherd who appears to be from working lines. He is @ 5 years old, neutered male. Ruger came into the rescue very fearful and he is still nervous with strangers approaching him - however once he warms up to someone he is very good natured. He is very well mannered on his walks, and does very well ignoring strangers and other dogs. In general he will prefer to be the only pet, but he does go out in the yard with other large dogs (females) who are dog friendly and he does very well. Ruger is not good with cats or small animals, or livestock. Due to his temperament and size, children in the home should be over 12. Ruger loves long walks, playing ball and car rides. Ruger will be a wonderful active companion for the right person who has experience with German Shepherds.
