Story
She is looking for a new home because her owner must leave the country permanently. At home, she is clean, peaceful, and loves relaxing by her person’s side.Highly intelligent and curious, Dima enjoys long walks, exploring new places, and engaging in searching or scent-based games. She would especially thrive with activities like tracking or nose work. She is also sociable, used to respectful interactions with other dogs, and comfortable around children. Cats and small animals should be avoided.Since she hasn’t been exposed to many strangers, Dima needs an adopter who can offer slow, positive introductions. She can be protective of her home, but she remains well-balanced in a calm and reassuring environment.Ideal Home:Calm and stableNo catsSingle person, couple, or familyLong regular walks + mental enrichmentGradual introductions to new people and environmentsLoyal, sharp-minded, and deeply affectionate, Dima will be the perfect companion for someone ready to offer her security, patience, and wonderful adventures.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet GEYRAN! GEYRAN was saved and cared for by Muscat Dog Adoption before being sent with other rescued dogs to Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine. They arrived in the US on 28th January 2025 and were transported to the rescue, where they are settling in. Health & Background &#226&#156&#133 Cleared by the US Canine Center for Diseases upon entry into the US &#226&#156&#133 Spayed &#226&#156&#133 Rabies and core vaccines up to date &#226&#156&#133 Heartworm and tick tested negative &#226&#156&#133 On monthly preventatives &#226&#156&#133 Microchipped &#226&#154&#150&#239&#184&#143 Weighs around 56 pounds Estimated DOB: 2 February 2021 Front leg amputee ‍ Mother of BINKY, who has since been adopted GEYRAN - FOSTER FAMILY UPDATE   We picked Geyran up at Give a Dog a Home rescue in Sebec on September 1st, and have fostered her for one week so far. She started out being clearly nervous and skittish around us -- and who could blame her after what she's experienced in the world so far? But it's been the most amazing thing to see her change from day to day, becoming more confident and loving and playful from one day to the next. This girl has a lot of love to give, and absolutely adores being loved on. While she still has a long way to go to being her most confident self, with the quick progress she's making, it's clear the only thing standing between her and her best self is a little time and a lot of love. Geyran happily sleeps in her crate with the door open during the night, doesn't bother you when you're still sleeping, and then comes to greet you and get some rubs when you get out of bed. She is a very clever girl, and despite having never lived in a home before, knows to only potty outside. First thing in the morning she follows close behind me to the front door, then goes straight outside to do her business. During the day she naps on her bed in the living room, and makes trips outside with us when we go out. She is a huge fan of taking a walk on the trail in the woods behind our house. We have been trying to convince her to take it easy with short jaunts only while she adjusts from a more sedentary life in the Oman rescue and GaDah rescue, to being more active. Geyran certainly seems to be good with other dogs, because she manages to get on with our dog Apollo, who has a fairly severe case of only-child syndrome and wants everything to be about him. While Apollo does resource guard us despite our best efforts, Geyran takes it in stride. While I don't think they'll ever be snuggle buddies, they get along as well as we ever could have hoped considering what a tough nut to crack Apollo is. Geyran does try to engage Apollo in play sometimes, but our snooty dog has mostly turned his nose up at her. The only chance we've had to see them play together is when we get either Geyran or Apollo worked up and when one starts to do some zoomies, then the other usually can't resist joining in and suddenly they are lapping the house together. When we bring Geyran into the bedroom at night to sleep, she first comes to our bedside to get lots of rubs alongside Apollo before we turn out the lights and she heads into her crate. She's come to love this routine, and she seems so happy when the both of us are giving attention to them together....I think it's her favorite part of the day. It's honestly been making it harder and harder to stop giving her attention and turn off the light each night. I hope someone out there will finally give this sweet, sweet girl the chance she deserves to find her family, and discover all that she has to give once she has a chance to settle down in her forever home.

Story
Meet Bullseye - A tall, sweet & beautiful brindle German Shepherd - Husky mix who is a 4.5 years old boy. His dashing look is enhanced by his stunning eyes; one ice blue eye & one dark brown eye & his black with bronze brindle fur. About Bullseye * Male. * An old soul in a young body. * Energy level: Low to medium. * He loves to say: ‘I wovvvvvve youuuuuuuuu’ * Smart, gentle & kind. * Great with other dogs, cats & people. * Mr. Bullseye loves kids & is gentle with them. He lays down to their level and is submissive to them watching them play very attentively. * Being he is such a gentle soul, calmer kids who respect a dogs space would be a great match as he is a sensitive dude. * Loves to sleep under the high bed or next to you on the sofa when watching a movie & loves being part of the family. *Loves to press the side of his face on your thigh & get face pets. Quirks - Bullseye is a talker, he ‘ahhhwooohs’ back when you talk to him so he can be loud but he is so cute & funny when doing it. Background - Bullseye’s previous owner has fallen on difficult times & had to put him in foster to give him time to get back up on his feet. Unfortunately, after almost 9 months, he decided that finding him an appropriate home with a family who can give him what he cannot at the moment, is what is best for Bullseye. Bullseye is looking for his new forever home where he’ll be loved & live the life that he deserves Ideal Home - Bullseye would do best in a calm home where he can relax like the sweet old soul that he is & continue learning. He’ll thrive with people who will appreciate his calm nature and can provide structure & long walks so he can discover his new surroundings. He loves to lay in the yard or the patio & often looks like he is pondering life. His deep stare will melt your heart. Bullseye needs to be in a home with other animals as he adores dogs and cats. If you think Bullseye could be your new best friend, reach out today, as he’s ready to make you laugh with his funny sounds and unconditional love. Bullseye is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and sterilized and will come with his medical booklet. Sometimes a dog takes a little more time to open up, you may see them showing more and more of their personality over the course of the first few days, weeks or even months. We don’t know all that they’ve been through before they were rescued, but they are so forgiving and full of love and it’s worth every tough moment in the end. Developing a trusting relationship with your rescue dog is the most important thing. Stability, patience, positive reinforcement and love are the most important things! * Il adore dire : « I wovvvvve youuu ... 💕
