Story
Meet Miss Petunia! This ole girl is shy but has the sweetest soul. Although her past is unknown, she has made it clear that her future involves quality couch time with lots of snuggles and belly rubs. It may take Petunia some time to warm up to you, but once she does you won’t regret it. She’s a true Lowcountry girl who enjoys living a slower paced life, but if you’re lucky you may get to witness the occasional zoomies. Even though Petunia loves the couch, she also appreciates some alone time in the comfort of her own crate (especially if there is a fluffy blanket for her to curl up on). She has great leash manners, has had no accidents in the house, and doesn’t mind the company of other dogs who are calm like her. After such a hard life, she’s ready to find a forever home where she can relax and snooze as much as she pleases!

Story
Zoe was found on a sidewalk of a road by a nice couple who took cake of her and helped her find a new home. She’s sweet and loves to be pet, she knows some commands as well. Before getting Zoe I asked the leasing office if I could get a pet and what was the requirements and they told me that I only needed to pay the pet deposit. Zoe has been with me for a week and they now told me that she does not meet the requirements because she’s gonna grow too much for the apartment. I believe that my neighbor complained bc she would bark if she hear loud noises and they have been used that as an excuse. They gave me a week to find Zoe a new home!

Story
Kona was born into our rescue as part of a litter of 12 puppies. His mom is a Great Pyrenees / Golden Retriever mix, and his dad is a Shepherd mix. This entire litter has had exceptional temperaments and has consistently done well with other dogs and children. Kona is crate-trained and potty-trained, making him an easy transition into a home. Because of his breed mix, Kona is very intelligent and would do especially well with an experienced adopter who is comfortable continuing training and enjoys working with a smart, eager-to-learn dog. He has a strong foundation and would thrive with structure and engagement. He is microchipped and vaccinated. He is not yet altered but is waiting on his age-appropriate neuter, which will be completed by the rescue. Kona is a little nervous around new people, and he takes some time to warm up. We believe in the right calm home, this sweet boy would thrive with a family.

Story
Meet Hayday 💛 Hayday is a 9-year-old sweetheart who came into our rescue as an owner surrender after his previous family had him scheduled for euthanasia due to skin allergies. A vet reached out to us and begged us to take him because she didn’t want to see him euthanized and we are so grateful she did, because Heydey is truly an incredible dog. He is fully vetted, crate trained, and potty trained. Since coming to us, Heydey has been transitioning to a healthier diet and he’s already making great strides with his allergies. He’s feeling better, looking better, and his happy personality shines more every day. He is thriving in an incredible foster home. Heydey is wonderful with people and other dogs. He’s a total lovebug and an expert cuddle buddy, plus he has the cutest habit of carrying his little tiger stuffed animal everywhere. On leash, he gets excited when he sees other dogs, but he’s very trainable and responds well with a little guidance. He acts more like a 5 year old pup and has so much love to give. He is currently crated during the day in his foster home, but that is because of the foster family’s dog and not because his foster mom feels like he needs to be. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a huge heart, Heydey is ready for his real second chance.
