Story
This remarkable dog was discovered abandoned in a rural area where he had endured exposure to the rain for an indeterminate period. Concerned passersby initially suspected he was injured, but upon my arrival, he eagerly hopped into my car and indulged in an entire box of treats. He's proven to be the most entertaining, affectionate, and intelligent companion I've ever encountered. His teeth bear the marks of neglect rather than age-related wear, and we estimate his age to be around 4-5 years. He adores car rides, and walks, and remains a loyal, dependable companion who never strays far. He is fully house-trained, adept at using a pet door, and gets along famously with other dogs. One of his ears has a distinctive appearance due to a past illness or injury that went untreated, but our vet has addressed it, and it appears to be in good condition now, although it will retain its unique appearance. If you're interested in welcoming Knuckles or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org.

Story
Meet Margot!! Margot is an 8-9 months old Australian Kelpie or Shepherd mix with a sweet disposition. She loves toys and LOVES the water. This girl could swim or splash in a puddle all day. Currently weighs 25lbs, she is expected to be around 35-40lbs fully grown. We know she is a mix due to her smaller size but her demeanor is all Shepherd. She was found at 5 months as a stray, so training was late in her development. She is working hard on potty training. This little girl is very smart and loyal, she will be attached to her person. Hopping in the car, going on walks, laying next to you while you cook dinner- she wants to be with her people. And she loves dogs and kids! Prefers women, but if patient man that can give her a week or so to learn to trust him. Margot is crate trained, knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. She also has good recall so she does well off leash too. She has puppy energy and needs at least two walks a day. We think she would do best with another dog but could do fine as an only pet as well. She is best suited for an experienced dog owner. Margot, is healthy, up to date on shots and is spayed. Margot is located in New England and ready as can be to head to her new home! The adoption donation is $400 . If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you!

If you are living in a condo or apt and have weight restrictions on pets please be aware that we can not guarantee adult size! Nick is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $400 which includes a health certificate and costs for the transport north. Thank you! *Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heartworm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption. *Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging! Massachusett's Residents: Effective September 28, 2017 a Quarantine Fee of $100 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined. Massachusetts mandates that all dogs entering MA shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility.

Agnes is a cute little puppy with a lot of love to give! This baby is friendly, affectionate, loyal, smart, curious, playful, and funny. Agnes loves to give kisses, but her new owner will have to train her on the best places for cuddles and pets. She's a quick learner, so training her to be a polite lady should be easy. Even though Agnes is still a baby, she is very mature and will be the perfect addition to a family. She's a great listener and will be your loyal companion for life. She will be waiting for her fur-ever home with lots of love to gi

Story
Splash is a young male Shepherd mix with a beautiful coat and eyes. Splash is in a foster home with 3 other Shepherds (including a male) and a miniature Schnauzer puppy. He is learning commands and leash skills. Splash is house trained/crate trained, but he does have some anxiety if he is crated long hours. He rides great in a car, and he is very well behaved when he attends events for our rescue. Splash loves to be around people and he is pretty social. He loves toys, playing in his foster mom's yard or just laying in the yard with his doggy foster siblings.
