Hi, my name is Picasso and I’m looking forward to finding my forever home! As you can probably tell I’ve had somewhat of a rough go at life, but that all changed when I was rescued while trying to stay dry and warm in a rainstorm 🌧️ Now I’m staying in a house with 5 other dogs and I’m learning how to be a dog myself🐶 My foster parents say I’m respectful, a quick learner, very handsome and an all around good boy👍 I’m pretty laid back, I haven’t quite figured out how to play yet. I’m an early riser, I love getting a jump on the day! At night I lay by my foster dad for a little while then I sleep the rest of the night away in my crate. I’m definitely food motivated! I do need a little extra care, I need medicated baths once every week or so and my ears need to be cleaned out typically once every other week. I have become very social with people and I know I could make a great companion to someone so if you’re looking for a really good boy don’t hesitate to fill out an application!

Name: Tiffany Age: 1 ½ years old Breed: Shepard Mix as listed on paper Gender: Female Weight: 50 lbs Altered: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Housebroke: Working on it Good with kids: Older kids yes, younger unknown Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: yes Foster location: Stevens Point/Mosinee, WI Fee: $150 that includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate. Please apply for me at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HFAH/Dog (403644-DS) **Meet and greets for approved applicants must happen within 3 days or the closest weekend (for long travelers). It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. We’d like to introduce you to Tiffany. Since coming to our home she is truly blossoming into the dog she was meant to be. She truly enjoys all the freedom of sniffing all the smells outside, romping around with her foster sister and going for walks. Tiffany is working hard on knowing that outside is the place for bathroom business and has been successful thus far. Staying on a schedule and trying to show her humans signs that she needs to go outside has been working so far with only a couple of accidents. She keeps a clean kennel. Tiffany knows that is her safe place. She will go into it easily at night time and often will go lay in it for a nap or to take a break from her foster sister. Tiffany is having a great time playing with her equal sized foster sister, especially on our deck where they have some room to romp around. She’s learning that toys are for playing and chewing, not shoes and socks. Carpeted floors are a great place for napping. Humans give yummy treats and shower me with attention with a nose nudge. We don’t know her full history, but she’d been a resident of a shelter for a long time so it may take some time for her to adjust to new surroundings. Every day she continues to come out of her shell. With treat rewards, she has already learned to sit to get leashed up to go outside and taken off when coming in. She sits for treats after doing her business outside. We are early in the walking on leash game but she has impressed us with how quickly she caught on. Tiffany is still a little timid to sudden moves or loud voices, but she will come to you and love you quickly. She just wants to be a good girl and please her humans and be where they are, whether being right next to them or just in the same room. She can be a snuggler but also likes her space. She’s not an attention hog, actually pretty mellow, but when she wants some loving and gets it, she will be your best friend. Tiffany is ready for adventures and to learn everything there is know about being in a furever home.

Story
Name: Pria Age: 2 years old Breed(as listed on paperwork): Shepherd mix Gender: Female Weight: 63lbs Altered: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Housebroke: Yes Good with kids: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown (foster has no cats) Foster location: Oshkosh, WI Fee: $150 that includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate. Pria is a sweet, silly, gorgeous girl! Pria loves every human she has met; men, women and children she has also met a few dogs and has done really well. Pria is a full on lover with no understanding of personal space. She can be overwhelming to young children because they are at her level and she loves to give kisses but she just wants to give and get love from anyone. Pria is very food motivated, she loves meal times and snack times more than anything!! Due to this motivation she would be extremely trainable. She eats from a slow feeder and has shown no aggression when I put my hand by her mouth/food. She has also learned to take treats very nicely. Pria is a typical youthful dog she will run and bounce around outside playing with her foster sister and then take a nice long nap while I work. Pria is fully housebroken and crate trained and she has proven herself to be trustworthy so she gets full run of the house while I work in the basement. Typically she will play with her sister, sleep near me, or in front of the window so she can “protect me” from anyone who walks by. Pria will be the first one to greet you in the morning with snuggles and kisses; some morning she lays on top of me nose to nose for morning attention. Pria would be an amazing one and only dog soaking up all the attention from her humans but she would also do well in a house with another dog her size that likes to play more rough and tumble style. She is a big fan of toys soft ones and hard ones that she can really chew on; she also likes to chase a ball though she is not great at bringing it back. Pria would enjoy a fenced yard but a few nice walks during the day would also work for her. True to her shepherd breed she is very loyal and will follow you around the house to make sure you’re okay or to check if you have snacks. Pria would easily fit into any family/home she is a pretty relaxed go with the flow dog. So, if you’re looking for a 60lb lap dog with no sense of personal space and full of love; Pria is the gal for you!!
