Story
Let’s talk about Bobo! He came to us with a fear of people, nipping at those who reached for his collar or tried to touch him. After spending a few months with our pack, he has now learned that humans are not to be feared. Today, he loves all of us here! There’s no more nipping or running away. We are excited to begin taking him out in public so he can learn to meet new people and remain calm during those interactions. He’s a sweet boy who revels in scritches and expresses himself with abundant vocalizations! His joy shines as he races the dogs on the other side of the fence, almost always emerging victorious. Only a couple of dogs can keep up with his speed. Bobo thrives with other dogs, and we have yet to discover how he interacts with kids or cats. Stay tuned for more updates on Bobo!

Story
We adopted Fin when he was 5 and a half weeks old (January 2017). At the time we did not have any children, but we did have a 10 lb Chihuahua. He did great with the Chihuahua and they coexisted happily until the Chihuahua passed away when Fin was almost 4 years old. We also had our first child that year. As time has gone on we've realized that Fin needs to be in a home without children. He doesn't like being surprised/disturbed when he's sleeping in his bed, and of course this is very hard to prevent with little ones running around! (we are pregnant with #3) A few weeks ago he nipped at our youngest when he surprised him sleeping (which left a bruise and some blood) and it made us realize that it's time to find him a new home. He has been SO loved over the past 9 years and is truly a wonderful dog. Even though he's 9 years old, he still has the energy of a much younger dog. He loves to go on jogs and is in great shape.

Story
Don’t let the gray whiskers fool you — Josie is only 7 years old and full of life! This sweet girl recently found herself in need of a new home, and she’s ready to bring love, loyalty, and joy to the perfect family. Josie is a true cuddle bug and loves spending time snuggled up with her people. At about 35 lbs, she’s the perfect size for lap snuggles or joining you on the couch without taking over. She’s at a wonderful age — well out of the puppy chewing stage, not yet slowing down, and just the right mix of playful energy and relaxed companionship. Josie is also fully trained in her crate, house, and leash manners, thanks to the care of her long-time dog sitter and trainer. She’s a smart, well-rounded girl who’s ready to be part of a loving home where she can thrive and share her affection every day. Josie proves that 7 years old is the absolute best age — calm enough to enjoy cuddles, playful enough to keep life fun, and loyal enough to steal your heart in no time!
