Story
Adelaide, aka Addy, is a sweet and energetic girl! She would love to be included on all sorts of outdoor activities to help burn off some energy. She also excels at cuddling and loves her blankie and nylabones, but the big booms of lightening or fireworks scare her. She gets excited to greet you and loves to jump and give kisses so she may not be good around small kids. She does seem interested in other dogs, but would do fine in a home with or without another dog. Visit http://animalsbenefitclub.com/adopt/ to learn about our Adoption Process and to download an adoption questionnaire. All interested adopters must complete an adoption questionnaire. If you are considered a match for the pet you are interested in, you will be contacted. A home visit is REQUIRED. Voicemail messages are retrieved periodically, but please note, we DO NOT RETURN CALLS regarding the status of adoption questionnaires. Our administrative staff is volunteer based, thank you for your patience and understanding. Included with adoptions – spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, food sample, collar, and post adoption support.

Reduced fee! This poor girl had such a rough start, that her owner died, and she ended up at a kill shelter. It’s a miracle she was still alive when we got her since she was there for such a long time. She is such a lover, and so calm and a house, she wants to play with toys and is AMAZING with other dogs! We recommend if any children are in the home they are 5 years and up. She is the perfect medium-sized girl. Likes walking or chilling at home. Please save this sweet girl, she would be an easy addition to your family. Adoption application link (google form) https://tinyurl.com/AdoptBCR Please save her! WE are a very quick and responsive rescue! If she isn't what you are looking for, put in an application and we will find you a match the same day!

Once Ava trusts you, she is very loyal, loving girl. Ava would benefit from placement in a quiet household with patient handlers who will give her time and space to acclimate and let her sweet nature bloom. Ava will need socialization and structure to thrive. Ava's rescuer has developed a terminal illness and can no longer care for her.  Ava is available for adoption with her "brother" Bear, listed in a separate post.  If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com  PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Story
Meet MilkyWay. This beautiful girl was found as a stray with her son, Twix. A wonderful couple saved them and took them in while ther tried to find their owners. Unfortunately, no one came forward for them, but that's okay because they ended up at FAR with us! MilkyWay and Twix have an inseparable bond and truly do everything together. They share their food, their toys and bones, and love to snuggle up next to each other. We believe Twix is MilkyWay's son, but we dont know for sure. What we do know is that MilkyWay loves him very much and gets a lot of confidence from him - especially when it comes to walks. They both will need help with leash training in their new home but are eager to please. They also appear to be potty trained. Both of them love meeting people, and MilkyWay will just wiggle her butt all day long!!! If you are looking for an adorable pair, come see MilkyWay and Twix!Thank you for your interest! Please visit www.foothillsanimal.org/adopt. We are currently conducting Adoptions by Appointment ONLY. You will find a link to schedule your appointment on our website. Please read each pet's bio for more information. Due to the large number of requests, we are unable to respond personally to each email at this time. Thank you!

Bruce is a German Short-haired Pointer/St. Weiler. He was born on 12/7/23 and has already had his 1st parvo shot. He is healthy, good with kids, large dogs and cats, but unfortunately does not get along with our 2 smaller dogs (Corgi & Basenji) he is a puppy, so he is hyper/needs attention, but all pups do, right 😃 He is doing great with crate training and does good sleeping in the crate at night. He is still learning to be fully potty trained, but he does know how to use a dog door already. He is very playful as well. Please note - we will provide you with The remaining food we have for him, doggy bed, and some toys.
