Story
Alexis is one of six beautiful puppies in our Pointer-Staffie litter of 17 week old orphans that have just joined our Connecticut Rescue. All the pups in this litter have gentle temperaments and playful personalities. Despite the chaotic shelter process, these pups show no obvious signs of trauma or neglect.  Alexis would be a great choice for a savvy adopter, willing to continue puppy training and socialization. She could easily join a multi-dog or cat home with older, playful animals tolerant of puppy energy. They would thrive with an active family with older kids who have been taught to be gentle with young dogs. All puppies are in excellent health, fully vaccinated and dewormed. If interested please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.

Story
Wes is a senior German Shorthaired Pointer deserving of comfort for his senior years! Although he is an older guy, he still has a lot of energy and needs space to run! Wes is great with all people, including kids. He does not know his size so he may knock small kids over. He is also good with other dogs. He is currently in need of a foster home! Even a short-term foster home would help this guy out! Wes has resided in a foster home for a while and is hoping to find that special person to love him forever!

Luna is looking for a home where she can run, play, train, and put her mind to work every day. She comes from strong hunting lines, and thrives on activity and purpose. Luna recently completed her final veterinary follow-up and is officially ready for her new home! She has also been professionally evaluated through our behavior and training program by a certified trainer. She will continue receiving professional training until she finds her forever family. Story
Meet Jasmine! 🌼 Jasmine is a 1-year-old, big, sweet, and goofy girl who is looking for her forever home. We’ve had her since she was about 7–8 months old, after she was heartbreakingly dumped and literally starving. She has come such a long way and is now a happy, healthy, playful dog. 🐶 Personality Very high energy and playful, LOVES other dogs and does great with them. Great with kids, though she is a big girl and may jump up when excited, Super smart and a quick learner Loves toys and playtime, she’s a very silly girl. Currently learning leash manners—she needs a minute to calm down but then walks well 🏡 Ideal Home Jasmine would thrive in an active home that can give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and continued training. She would do great with another dog and with a family who enjoys a big, loving, goofy companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, affectionate dog who will keep you smiling, Jasmine might be your perfect match! 💛🐾 Jasmine is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Welcome Oaks to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Oaks is a 1.5 year old German Short haired pointer and German Shepherd. He is about 48 pounds and a good weight. He is good in a car, potty trained, doggy door trained and lives with six children starting at age 2. He also lives with 6 other dogs and does fine. He would be great with a family and children would be fine. We like them to be 8 or older. He is smart, laid back, good with other dogs and bonds deeply to his family. He is a little timid with strangers but comfortable with his people. His foster family is going to start taking him places so he can get used to changes in environment and other people. He is smart but he doesn’t like to retrieve like his sister does. He is a nice dog and naturally a little protective to his family. He would be great with a family that the dad travels and he wants to feel that his family is safe and taken care of. He is a moderate shedding dog and with his long legs would be a great walking or jogging companion. He is neutered, healthy and getting his vaccinations and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Koda was a surrender from another local rescue. He is deaf but has been doing great learning sign language. He loves his foster buddies and plays great with both the tiny puppies and the big rough dogs. Koda has adjusted great to living inside and with a doggy door is completely housetrained. He is not chewing up shoes or phones cords or anything like that. Koda is a puppy but doesn't have that seek and destroy puppy vibe. He loves to take walks and would be a wonderful companion for outdoor activities or he can be just as comfortable laying beside you on the couch. Special needs dogs are the best dogs for anyone wanting to really feel like they saved one that needs it the most. Koda lives in his foster home with 22 fosters and his foster dad says he is a "stand out". FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Koda's adoption fee is $275. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN.
