Story
Milo is a loving 6 year old dog who still has the bounce of a puppy. He loves hikes and adventures as well as cuddling and napping on the couch. We rescued Milo about 5 years ago when he was 10 months from a shelter near us in Rhode Island. We think he originally was rescued in South Carolina with his litter mates. Milo gets along great with other dogs at the dog park and daycare/boarding places. He has occasionally spent some weeks with his “cousin” dogs, so has some experience living with another dog, but does not like to share mealtimes with them. He is extremely attached to his small group of people and does take some time to warm up to strangers. He is protective of his home and does let folks walking by the house know that he is there through the window. Unfortunately, Milo has not been adjusting well to our toddler’s increased mobility. We feel Milo would be happier in a home without small children where he can feel safe and loved.
