I’m Pistol, a 5-year-old, 60-pound purebred German Shorthaired Pointer. I was a show dog and even have obedience training, but I was seized by police from a terribly neglectful hoarding situation with eleven other dogs. Several of us already made their way here to Save A Dog and are doing great in their new homes. I get along very well with other dogs and overall am a mellow guy. I was very thin when I came into rescue, but I am a healthy weight now. Really young kids probably aren't a great fit for Mara since she really would love to keep her environment with a low level of chaos. This girl is looking for her zen!
