Gunner is a beautiful German Short-hair Pointer mix who is two and a half years old and is originally from Louisiana. He was given away during a divorce and the individual did not want to keep him. He is used to being in a home setting and cannot wait to get back into a comfortable environment where he can relax on the couch and never be homeless again. Wes is great with all people, including kids. He does not know his size so he may knock small kids over. He is also good with other dogs. He is currently in need of a foster home! Even a short-term foster home would help this guy out! Rehoming fee is negotiable.Truman came to us at 8 weeks from a local breeder with a history of breeding GSPs. Truman is on the larger size for his age, having grown in height and weight quickly. He is currently 1 year old.Circumstances currently being what they are in our life, plans have changed, needing now to focus on being able to provide what’s best for Truman; a new home.Truman is a very active dog, trained off leash and with good recall. He will recall thru multiple triggers. Truman is food motivated. Truman enjoys the water, toys, napping, being close to anyone, and playing along with other dogs. He’s extremely curious.Truman is wildly affectionate and trusting, but also vocal and will be protective in voice and stature with curiosity toward anyone who approaches. He does well with children.Truman is your stereotypical male GSP, clunky, goofy, playful, affectionate.Truman is up to date with his shots, and in good health. All paperwork provided.

Story
Kevin Henson is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Hey there! I’m Kevin, the life of the party! I’m a handsome Pointer mix with a personality as big as my love for life. At about 65 pounds, I’m a playful, goofy guy who loves toys, treats, adventures, and being right in the middle of the action. I’m all grown up, too, so there won’t be any surprises when it comes to my size! I’m a smart boy who is eager to learn, and food is definitely the way to my heart. That makes me a pretty great student! I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and always ready for some fun, whether that means zooming around outside, playing with my favorite toys, or hanging out with my people. With my size and energy, I’d absolutely love a home with a fully fenced yard where I can safely run, play, and burn off some energy. One thing my future family should know is that I do have leash reactivity around other dogs. When I see another dog while I’m on leash, especially in busy or stimulating environments, I can get overwhelmed and may bark or react. I just have some big feelings in those situations and need a handler who understands how to give me space, help me stay under threshold, and continue working on my training. I do live with my canine foster sister who I love, but slow, proper introductions with other dogs are a must. Because of this, I wouldn’t be a good candidate for dog parks or other chaotic environments with unfamiliar dogs. I’ll be much happier enjoying walks with plenty of space, adventures where my person can advocate for me, and playtime in my own secure yard. I’m looking for a patient, consistent family who will keep helping me build my skills and confidence. Give me structure, love, plenty of treats, and a little understanding, and I’ll give you one incredibly loyal, fun-loving companion in return.
