Rust is a purebred GSP 5 year old and is up to date with shots. I got him at 8 weeks. He is a sweet loving affectionate silly boy. He has a lot of energy and needs work to be happy! At this time with an infant and limited living space it is hard to find the time to help him live his full active potential ! Fun fact: he has flown across the country twice! He was born in Mass, lived in Seattle 2.5 years with us and relocated to Mass recently

Wes is a senior German Shorthaired Pointer deserving of comfort for his senior years! Although he is an older guy, he still has a lot of energy and needs space to run! Wes is great with all people, including kids. He does not know his size so he may knock small kids over. He is also good with other dogs. He is currently in need of a foster home! Even a short-term foster home would help this guy out! Wes has resided in a foster home for a while and is hoping to find that special person to love him! **PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDERS, as we reply.to all inquiries, the emails.will be coming from Everydogrescue@gmail.com, you may also email us directly.

🐾Luna is out seeking her forever home!🐾 Luna is a spirited and athletic 3-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who’s always ready for adventure. She adores people and gets along with other dogs. Luna is looking for a home where she can run, play, train, and put her mind to work every day. She comes from strong hunting lines, and thrives on activity and purpose. Luna is not a dog who will be content staying home all day — she loves spending her time exploring, learning, and staying busy. Luna recently completed her final veterinary follow-up and is officially ready for her new home! She has also been professionally evaluated through our behavior and training program by a certified trainer. She will continue receiving professional training until she finds her forever family. If you are interested in learning more about Luna or submitting an adoption application, please email Everydogrescue@gmail.com She is located in Rhode Island

Story
We got him as a puppy from a breeder in Virginia Beach, VA. He’s 6 years old, a German Shorthaired Pointer with lots of energy left. We are looking for an active home that can give him the time, space, and exercise he deserves, ideally with older kids or none, and a yard or open space. He’s sweet with people and other pets but needs boundaries, and with an infant and toddler we can’t give him the environment he deserves. A dog is still an animal, and very young children don’t yet understand when he needs space or when they need to move away from him. He loves being part of everything, so he will cry when you leave the house, but will be so excited when you get back, even after just 5 minutes. He is sweet, gentle, affectionate, playful, high-energy, loyal. He loves walks, runs, and fetch. This is the hardest decision of our lives, and we want someone who will love him as much as we do.

Story
Kevin Henson is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Hey there! I’m Kevin, the life of the party! I’m a handsome Pointer mix with a personality as big as my love for life. At about 65 pounds, I’m a playful, goofy guy who loves toys, treats, adventures, and being right in the middle of the action. I’m all grown up, too, so there won’t be any surprises when it comes to my size! I’m a smart boy who is eager to learn, and food is definitely the way to my heart. That makes me a pretty great student! I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and always ready for some fun, whether that means zooming around outside, playing with my favorite toys, or hanging out with my people. With my size and energy, I’d absolutely love a home with a fully fenced yard where I can safely run, play, and burn off some energy. One thing my future family should know is that I do have leash reactivity around other dogs. When I see another dog while I’m on leash, especially in busy or stimulating environments, I can get overwhelmed and may bark or react. I just have some big feelings in those situations and need a handler who understands how to give me space, help me stay under threshold, and continue working on my training. I do live with my canine foster sister who I love, but slow, proper introductions with other dogs are a must. Because of this, I wouldn’t be a good candidate for dog parks or other chaotic environments with unfamiliar dogs. I’ll be much happier enjoying walks with plenty of space, adventures where my person can advocate for me, and playtime in my own secure yard. I’m looking for a patient, consistent family who will keep helping me build my skills and confidence. Give me structure, love, plenty of treats, and a little understanding, and I’ll give you one incredibly loyal, fun-loving companion in return. If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter.   If you were already approved through Rhode Home Rescue within the last 6 months, contact us today!
