We have had Oscar for a few weeks. We were told that his previous owner's needed to rehome him because of Landlord issues. We took him in at our home but need to find a permanent home for him. He is very energetic and sweet. He loves to run and play. We have a home in the country with lots of area to roam. Unfortunately, he likes to roam a little too much. Before coming to us, he was an indoor pet and we were told is housetrained. We would love to find a home where he can be safe to roam outside or be indoors. We were told he was abused when he was smaller. He is a bit wary of new men. He will tuck his tail and bark at men. It takes a little bit for him to warm up to men, but quickly takes to women and children.

Pet Location: Wayside Waifs Campus- I am enrolled in Waifs with Wisdom. This is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session.- During my time at Wayside, I have enjoyed being around other dogs. - I already know some basic commands!- I would thrive with an adopter who is ready to train a puppy!Cha-ching! I’m Cash–the spunkiest 5-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer on the block. If there is one thing I know, it’s how to play. Releasing all of my pent-up puppy energy is one of my favorite activities, especially if that involves doggie friends. Because I’m still a puppy, I have a lot to learn about being a dog. But I AM learning! I’m a student in Waifs with Wisdom, so before too long, I’ll be amazing at all things dog: walking on a leash, being confident in new environments, and knowing all the tricks. I know I said I’m learning to be confident in new spaces, but I’m not quite there yet. Bear is an excited, enthusiastic, and energetic dog that loves to have fun and play with the kids. He is an amazing dog and has been an awesome addition to our family. Unfortunately, due to children having health issues, we are no longer able to keep Bear and cannot provide the life he needs or deserves. This is a very hard decision as our family loves Bear, but he deserves to live a better life than we can provide.We do not want to have to give him to a shelter or put him down, that would be too heartbreaking. We ask that a loving family take him in as a last option before contacting shelters. Thank you.
