🎶 Meet the Pointer Sisters & the Blues Brothers! 🐾 Let us introduce Anita & Ruth (the Pointer Sisters) and Jake & Ellwood (the Blues Brothers)! These four little stars have definitely found their voices—and they’ve been doing a lot more “singing” since they were rescued. The puppies and their mom were heartbreakingly abandoned on the side of the road in Elkin. When they were found, both mom and pups were underweight and dehydrated. Sadly, two of the siblings had already passed. Mom had no milk to feed the babies, so they had to be separated to ensure everyone received the care they needed. (Mom is now safe with another rescue and doing well!) Thanks to proper nutrition, medical care, and lots of love, these pups are now healthy, active, and ready to find their forever homes. While we don’t know who dad is, mom strongly resembles a Pointer mix. If these pups take after her, they’ll likely be energetic, intelligent, and happiest with room to run. Because of this, we are looking for active families and homes with fenced yards to help them thrive. We anticipate they will grow to be approximately 40–60 pounds when fully grown. Adoption Fee: $400 Covers: ✔ First two rounds of vaccines ✔ Dewormer ✔ Microchip ✔ Spay/neuter once of age These siblings are playful, curious, and full of personality. They’ve overcome a tough start in life and are ready to trade the roadside blues for a lifetime of love. If you’re ready for adventure, loyalty, and maybe a little puppy “music” in your life, one of these four could be your perfect match! 🎵🐶

Georgia is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves being near her people and following them around. She enjoys meeting new people, does well with children, and is very treat-motivated. She loves being outside and is always up for an adventure, but also fits well into a relaxed home.One of her favorite things is wearing a sweater—she’ll even bring it to you to put on. Georgia has good leash manners, is fully potty trained, and does well with other dogs. She isn’t a big barker, but she will chase smaller animals if given the chance. Overall, she’s an easygoing, loving companion with lots of charm.

We found Hermes on the side of a remote road and we think he was abandoned. We tried to find the original owner and when that failed we had him microchipped and neutered and he has been living with us for a few months, but he is stressing out the other pets in the home (especially the cats) and just isn't a good fit. He is a high energy dog that needs a big yard and/or frequent walks and I don't have the energy to keep up with him.

Meet Cosmo! Cosmo is a 4–5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a big heart, a happy spirit, and energy for days. He’s everything people love about the breed, athletic, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure with his favorite humans. Cosmo truly loves people. He’s friendly, sweet, and enjoys spending time with adults, kids, and other dogs. He’s the kind of pup who wants to be part of whatever you’re doing, whether that’s heading out for a walk, tossing a ball, or just hanging out together. We don’t know much about Cosmo’s past, but what we do know is that he’s eager to learn and wants to please. While he hasn’t had a ton of formal training yet, he’s already making great progress in foster care and picking things up quickly with consistency and positive guidance. Cosmo is also receiving professional training through Impawssible Pups, we look forward to sharing his journey more! Blue Flint says he is a hound mix, with a vet estimated year of birth of 2020.  He is full of life and love. He is a super busy guy who will need lots of exercise and structure. Chevy is eager to please and has a very gentle mouth when taking treats and playing fetch. He is super smart and learns very fast. He really needs a home with a fenced in yard so he has plenty of room to run, play and burn off some energy and a family committed to working with him on training to provide the mental exercise he needs.
