Story
Brown is one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet! His enthusiasm is contagious, and he finds pure joy in just about everything—walks, treats, belly rubs, and all the love he can get. With his high energy, Brown is looking for an active family who can provide plenty of exercise and ongoing training to keep him engaged and happy. He’s wonderful with people, including children, but his excitement can make him a bit jumpy, so a home without very small kids would be best. Brown is currently being assessed for his interactions with other dogs. He’s doing well with female dogs but will need slow and careful introductions to ensure positive relationships with other canine companions. Resilient and full of spirit, Brown has overcome a lot. He was transferred to us from another shelter, where he was rescued from a neglect and cruelty situation. Shortly after arriving, Brown was diagnosed with leishmaniasis, a disease transmitted by sand fly that requires daily medication and routine blood and urine testing. He also tested positive for two tick-borne diseases, Ehrlichia and Anaplasma, both of which have been successfully treated, though his blood values still need regular monitoring. Despite these challenges, Brown’s vibrant personality hasn’t wavered. He was recently diagnosed with pemphigus foliaceus, an immune disorder affecting his skin, but with treatment of a low-dose steroid, he’s doing well. Is Brown the loving, resilient companion you’ve been waiting for? His medical needs don’t slow him down, and they shouldn't slow you down from welcoming this wonderful boy into your home!

Story
Timon is a German Pointer mix with a sharp mind and a deep devotion to his people. This intelligent boy thrives in a structured environment where he can put his skills to good use—whether it's playing a game of fetch, learning new commands, or simply being by your side. While Timon is incredibly loyal to those he trusts, he needs time and patience when meeting new people. Slow, muzzled introductions are essential to help him feel safe and build positive associations. He also has some resource-guarding tendencies, so he’ll need an experienced adopter who understands how to manage and work through this behavior with consistency and confidence. Because of his breed and personality, Timon will do best in a home familiar with working breeds—one that can provide both mental and physical enrichment. With the right guidance, he will make an incredible companion for someone who respects his boundaries and is committed to continuing his training. Timon isn’t the kind of dog for everyone, but for the right person, he will be an unshakable, devoted companion. If you have experience with dogs like him and are looking for a smart, loving partner, Timon is ready to meet you!

@Please visit our Web : www.lovefsir.org @You can Email to us : fsirdog@gmail.com @Fill out the application at : http://lovefsir.org/application.php <---- @Visit our Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/loveFSIR ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- MoMo was abandoned on the remote mountain side. Our volunteer found her after the typhoon. She was skinny and in bad condition. We placed her at the foster home and visited the Vet. Now MoMo is healthy and trained. We would like to find a forever home for her. MoMo is sometimes lively, sometimes goofy. She likes to approach people with curiosity. Adults or children, men or women alike. Active and friendly are best to describe her. She always quickly starts to melt your heart and follows you around. She likes to run around outdoors, see what's going on, and roll on grass. MoMo is given lots of love and cuddles, and is carefully looked after. We prefer a home with no other dogs or cats, allowing her to be the only spoiled and loved fur baby in the family, and a family willing to take her to some training classes. This will be very helpful for her because she is an extremely intelligent dog. She does not destroy furniture, and she is very gentle when taking food from your hand—her teeth will never touch your hand. She loves to shred any paper items, which is hilariously cute like a paper shredder. This is a common behavior for many young dogs, so please keep your tissues and documents safely out of her reach. MoMo is looking for homes right now. foster home feed on a dry baby kibble feed mixture of meat /egg/ or wet food ; sometimes cook chicken/beef and duck treats or cheese sticks for snacks as well. Or a mixture of well-blended boiled beef/chicken with kibble. According to our observation and evaluation, MoMo is quite suitable for a young family who is energetic, active in outdoor activities, and loves to exercise; whether it is a home with a fenced yard or an apartment, it is very suitable for MoMo. If you are over 60 years old, this may not be a suitable match. Additionally, MoMo has no problem being home alone; she can play with her toys very quietly and does not have separation anxiety, allowing her to live a happy life. Once she recognizes you, she will adapt to your family.MoMo is easy-going, she is good at adapting to new environments, We would like the new family to do the same as well; she will quickly learn everything. MoMo is fostering in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and we'd love for you to come visit! The meaning of adoption is not gaining a free and 100% perfect dog. Instead, the meaning is a poor and helpless animal gets a new life and sweet home because of you. Please open your heart and your sweet home. If you are interested in MoMo, or want to help her. Please contact us. * We opened MoMo for adoption in U.S. and Canada, You are welcome to fill out our online application * We are looking for a family who understands the patience and responsibility required to raise a pet. It is important to us.

Story
DUKE is a POINTER MIX, 5 years old and weights approx 24kg. "DUKE" was found by a SPFG friend who was out in the woods with her dog. He was unconscious and starved almost to death, just skin on bones. He was one of the countless puppies hunters abandon when they discover they can't use them or sell them for hunting or breeding. Anastasia took him straight to our vet and called us. After a long phase of convalescence, followed a long period of recuperation; but now "DUKE" is a picture of health, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, also housebroken and leash trained. "DUKE" is an absolutely carefree boy who just loves everyone and everything, dogs, cats, people, strangers, bees, toads, car rides, doctors, butterflies, food. He gets excited seeing his friends even after a 5 min parting. He is curious, inquisitive and as a hunting dog has unlimited energy outdoors, whereas he calms inside. "DUKE" is a sensitive boy, very affectionate who needs gentle handling. He would be happy in any type of family, if he has ways to spend all that energy. If interested in adopting our active boy "DUKE" please visit our website to fill out an application at; www.straypawsfromgreece.com You can also call us on WhatsApp at: 416-347-0009.
