Story
Meet Lucy Belle 🐾 Sweet Lucy is a ten month old German Shorthair Pointer mix. She is a happy, healthy girl who loves to play!! 🎾 Lucy has been with a family since she was a young puppy and they love her very much but she is too playful for the senior dog in the home. Her family wants her to have another dog more her energy level to play with. 🐕 Lucy would be great with an active couple who likes to hike or run. She really loves children so a home with older children would also be a great fit. 👫 Lucy is house trained and settles well after a busy day of playing and walks. A fenced yard is definitely a must so Lucy Belle can get out her zoomies and have a safe place to play. Lucy would also be a great candidate for agility training or possibly a fly ball star ⭐️ So if this precious girl sounds like a perfect fit for your family, then please submit an adoption application. Lucy Belle is already planning her next fun adventure, maybe it will be with you. 🥰

Story
Hello, my name is Sequoia! I am an 11-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer. I came to the rescue after I was hit by a car and lost my back leg. Don't be fooled. I may only have three legs, but I have every ounce of GSP energy my four-legged GSP friends have. I can hold my own. I love everyone and everything. I want all the humans and dogs to be my friends. My foster family says I have a ton of goofy GSP energy. I play hard, but when I am done, I just want to snuggle and sleep on someone. I haven't been around a lot of cats, but I am sure I would have fun chasing them. I love to explore. My foster family told me I shouldn't put everything in my mouth, including fingers. They keep saying I need to stop being rough and "mouthy. I am doing my best, but sometimes I get so excited that I forget. I love to wrestle and play tug of war with my friends in my foster home. I admit, I can be wild and could probably knock over small children. It wouldn't be on purpose, but I should probably be in a house with older or dog savvy children who want to run around and play with me. My foster mom says I am a smart cookie! I don't know what that means, but I do like cookies. I know how to sit and lay down. I don't always listen to stay and come but I know what they mean. I sleep in my crate at night and when my foster family is away from the house. I would prefer to be out, but I am fine looking out the window watching for birds before my nap. If I hear someone, I whine, but once I know I am not getting out I settle down and go to sleep. I always go potty outside, but I hear that regression is common in new environments. I might only have 3 legs, but I get "birdie just like all the other bird dogs I know. My foster mom always tells me not to pull on the leash but when I see something moving, I really want to hurry up and get to it. I love that I can run around in my fenced yard. I would prefer to have a fence in my furever home. I enjoy sitting outside and watching the birds fly by, then chasing them when they come close. I am hoping that my furever home is going to be with people who enjoy taking me for short walks, who will be patient as I continue to work on my leash manners, who will play fetch with me, then let me snuggle on them while I take a nap. I would love a fenced-in yard to run around and watch for birds. I am hoping I can continue to have the company of another active dog who won't get too mad at me when I get crazy. My foster siblings sometimes tell me I get too rough. I am still working on that. My foster mom says I need to go to a home where they have experience with my high energy breed. I am UTD on my shots and was recently spayed. I will need to meet all resident dogs to make sure they can handle my energy. I am being fostered in Mohnton, PA and prospective adopters may need to travel here for a meet & greet. If you think you could give me a forever home, please apply to adopt me on the Zoe's House website: www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoes House, Inc Kennel license # 9117 Po box 2372 Reading pa 19608

Story
Rocky has been a long stay in boarding while we got this little chowder head to focus. Apparently his live had started with best guess, young boys, because his exuberance was over the top. We have finally gotten him under control. Other dogs still correct him at times because he just can't get that meet & greet scenario down pat, again exuberance. He is a very loving dog and would love the opportunity to live with someone who loves the outdoors and hiking. Sorry no apartments for this boy.
