Story

Rosie is the sweetest girl. Don't let her age fool you, even though she is 8 she acts like she is 2! She would make for a great bird dog if a hunter would take some time to train her, she points at everything and has a high prey drive! She ended up at our adoption center to no fault of her own. Her previous owner said he didn't have time for her and has been keeping her outside in a kennel because he didn't want Rosie to knock over his elderly mother. Rosie does resource guard her favorite bones/toys but does not care when you take her food! After we ran some blood work on her we did find that she has pancreatitis. This just means she needs to be on a low-fat food to prevent her from getting fatty liver disease. Rosie is now spayed, up to date on vaccines and current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. Had him since he was 10 weeks. Nothing we do can house break him. We have tried everything. We now have an infant and don’t have the capability to continue to try to retrain him. He has been trained by Peacock Bridge Kennels and is good at walking by your side and listening to commands.(by electric collar). He is high energy but that is to be expected with the breed.

Jaxson is a very lovable dog. He is high energy and needs to be walked and taken out a couple times a day. Because he is high energy if he is not taken out he will act out. He loves to hug and jump up for kisses. He’s great with kids. He’s 4 years old. His birthday is Jan 15. He isn’t very aggressive but is protective. Enjoys sleeping on the couch or a good blanket. We got him when he was just a baby and have had him ever since. I am relocating and it breaks my heart that I can’t bring him with me. My kids are also very sad. Looking for someone that can give him time and attention.

Ruby and Marshall are a bonded pair. They have been together with their owner for a very long time. However, their beloved human has passed away, so they are in need of a new forever home. They can go separately. They need someone that can spend a lot of time with them. They are very affectionate and are always starved for attention, as their previous owner gave them all of his attention every day. They are both housebroken and do very well on a leash. They also love to play in a fenced in yard together. Their previous owner seemed to have them on a schedule where he would take them out every 3 hours for paly and potty breaks. Ruby and Marshall would make a great family members for an active family.
