Dixie is a 5-year-old purebred GSP (no papers). She is very active and affectionate; however, our current situation—specifically a lack of time and yard space—means we can no longer provide the lifestyle she deserves. We are looking for a home that can offer her more room to run and play.

Tucker is a true gem: likely a mix of German Short Hair and Catahoula, he seems to combine the best traits of both. He is perfectly socialized, house trained, loves other animals and people .... what else can you ask for? And what a handsome guy he is too! You will never regret adding this sweet young guy to your household!

Story
Petey walked onto a property in the country one day and let everybody know that he was not just visiting, but really intended to stay. This would have been perfectly fine with the human residents, but they want Petey to have the best possible life and felt this high energy young man needed to have someone younger than they are. GSP's are wonderful dogs who are very lovable and loving and are very trainable. They do have a high energy level and usually a strong prey drive. Training is definitely a must. They will reward you with unconditional love and loyalty.

Story
Meet Dallas – your future girl with the goofy charm!Location: Toledo, OHDOB: 07/13/2020Dallas is a beautiful Great Dane with that classic “goofy Dane” personality everyone loves. She’s playful, sweet, a little silly, and incredibly lovable. One minute she’s happily shaking her toys, and the next she’s giving you those signature Great Dane head tilts and soft vocalizations that make the breed so special.PersonalityDallas is the perfect blend of fun and relaxed. She has moderate energy—she enjoys playing with toys and her dog friends but also settles down nicely and loves to lounge. Whether it’s on the couch, the bed, or even the floor, she’s happiest when she’s near her people. She can be a bit of a “velcro” dog and will gently nudge you with her nose when she wants attention (or a treat—those are her favorite). She loves both men and women and does well in public and in the car. She’s wonderful at the groomer and can roam freely in the house without issue. When new guests arrive, she may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she becomes affectionate and eager to give kisses.Home Life-Housetrained (she just needs 10–15 minutes outside to ensure she finishes her business)-Walks well on leash, though she may pull slightly when excited-Does great with other dogs and currently lives with multiple large and medium dogs, both male and female-No cats—she will chase them-Would enjoy another dog in the home but would also do fine as an only dog-Best suited for homes with older kids, teens, and adults (unknown with very young children)-Dallas has done some counter surfing in the past but is improving with reminders and continued training. She is smart and responds well to consistency.Energy LevelDallas has a moderate energy level. A fenced backyard is sufficient for her needs. She enjoys playtime but also knows how to relax and settle appropriately. The Perfect HomeDallas will need a patient and understanding family willing to give her time to adjust to a new environment. Once she feels secure, she truly shines and becomes an incredibly loyal and loving companion. She deserves a home where she will be cherished, appreciated, and spoiled the way a Great Dane should be.If you are looking for a big-hearted, toy-loving, head-tilting best friend, Dallas may be the perfect fit for your family.========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .Note: SRGDRR adopts nationwide and offers transport options to help you find your perfect match!
