Story
IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Amelia! Amelia is about 4 months old and weighs about 18 lbs. We have no idea on breed mix, but our guess is German Short hair Pointer/Hound - JUST A GUESS. Amelia is a happy, playful and sweet puppy. She is at her happiest when she is sitting in your lap:) Amelia is great with the resident dogs in her foster home. Amelia is doing great with her house training. Amelia sleeps in her crate through the night. Amelia is ready for any adventure and is happy when she has a lap to sit on. Because Amelia is a young puppy, the adopter must be home during the day to continue training and socialization and help the puppy grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog. This puppy has age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped and will need to be spayed/neuter at 6 months of age. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

Milo is about 4 months old and weighs about 15 lbs. We have no idea on breed mix, but our guess is German Short hair Pointer/Hound - JUST A GUESS. Milo is a sweet and playful puppy who loves other dogs. Milo is not fostered with cats so we have no idea how he would do with cats. Milo enjoys playing with toys, going on walks, and snuggling with his foster family. Milo is doing great with both his house and crate training, and he is a typical, happy puppy. Because Milo is a young puppy, the adopter must be home during the day to continue training and socialization and help the puppy grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog.
