Story
Goldie is a 5-year-old, 10-pound red Pomeranian with bright golden eyes and a playful, affectionate personality. She’s a beautiful little dog who enjoys both activity and attention, and she loves being part of whatever her people are doing. Goldie gets along well with other dogs and especially enjoys playing with them. She doesn’t pay much attention to cats unless they run, in which case she might give chase, but otherwise she leaves them alone. She loves being close to her person and is happiest curled up beside you on the couch soaking up attention. She rides well in the car in a crate and walks nicely on a leash, though she does enjoy taking the lead and exploring along the way. Goldie has been doing well going outside for potty breaks when taken out regularly. At night she sleeps in a dog bed but would likely be very happy to share the bed with her person if invited. Goldie has a fun, social personality and would do well in a home that enjoys a playful companion who also appreciates cuddle time. She would likely enjoy a home with another dog to play with or older children who want a friendly little sidekick. Goldie is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. She is heartworm negative and current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Story
Dexter is an older guy, somewhere around 8–10 years old, about 13 pounds, and honestly just an easy dog to love. He was found as a stray and never reclaimed, which is hard to understand once you meet him because he’s friendly, sweet, and seems happy to be wherever his people are. Dexter is the kind of dog who fits right into your life without needing much from you. He walks nicely on a leash, rides great in the car, and loves tagging along for errands or trips. At home, he’s quiet and content, perfectly happy lounging nearby and keeping you company. He’s affectionate without being demanding and has that calm, steady presence that makes everything feel a little more relaxed. He came into rescue heartworm positive, went through fast kill treatment like a champ, and is now fully cleared. He’s also had an extensive dental and is feeling really good. Overall, he’s in great shape and ready to enjoy a comfortable, loved life. Dexter is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. If you’re looking for a dog who doesn’t need training marathons or constant entertainment, just a couch, a few walks, and someone to sit near, Dexter might be your guy. Bristol is a 7-year-old, 10-pound reddish Pomeranian with a gentle nature and an easygoing personality that makes her a lovely companion. She is a very sweet girl who enjoys people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Bristol has a calm, friendly demeanor and settles easily into her surroundings. She rides well in the car, does great in a kennel, and is generally a very easy dog to have around. She is currently working on potty training and is making progress as she adjusts to life in a home. She is still getting used to wearing a harness and leash, but her foster is helping her learn and she continues to gain confidence. When Bristol first arrived in rescue she didn’t have much hair, but with good care it has been growing back nicely and is filling in soft and full again. Bristol is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. She is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
