Story
Meet Kern! He is around 1 year old and we believe he is a German Shorthaired Pointer and Doodle mix. True to the Doodle mix, he is a spirited, energetic boy looking for an equally active family. He is working on his commands and leash manners. If you think you're ready to add to your family by adopting Kern, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Story
Annabelle is a Courtesy Post only and is not a Second Chance Dog Rescue dog. SCDR is not responsible for any ownership, behavior, health, and representations made by the owner with respect to this dog. You must contact Diana Daniels at 716-912-8733 (call or text) to meet Annabelle    Meet Miss Annabelle! This stunning Pointer mix isn’t just beautiful — she’s the real deal who actually points! Estimated to be around 2–3 years old and weighing about 50 lbs, Annabelle is full of life, joy, and playfulness. She absolutely lives for toys and will happily keep herself entertained for hours. Annabelle is both dog- and cat-friendly, and she adores being around people — she’s a classic “Velcro dog” who loves to be part of the action. She walks nicely on leash, is potty trained, and rides wonderfully in the car. She also does well in her kennel as long as she has some favorite toys or treats to keep her busy. While she’s friendly with other pups, Annabelle prefers not to share her toys, she’ll politely (and sometimes not-so-politely!) make sure everyone knows the ball is hers. Her story is a touching one: after her owner passed away in the Imperial Valley, the remaining family, living out of state, couldn’t take her in. When we met her at the shelter, we knew this smart, loyal girl deserved a fresh start and a family who would truly appreciate her loving heart and playful spirit. Annabelle is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her forever home — one filled with toys, adventures, and people to love.  Annabelle is available to meet in the San Diego area. For further information or to meet Annabelle, please contact Diana Daniels at 716-912-8733 (call or text)October 14, 2025, 6:45 pm

Story
Meet Sprinkles! Sprinkles is the perfect little companion. She does wonderfully home alone—no barking, no whining—just chilling on the couch and watching TV like a pro. She’s a snuggle bug who loves being close to her people and is happy to lounge all day or head out for a long walk. When she catches a scent, her inner detective kicks in—nose to the ground and tail wagging with purpose! Sprinkles adores head scratches, and when she’s happy, she shows it with her signature “dance” (aka a super cute butt wiggle). Whether you’re looking for a cozy couch buddy or a walking partner with personality, Sprinkles is your girl. 💛🐾
