Estimated to be around 2–3 years old and weighing about 50 lbs, Annabelle is full of life, joy, and playfulness. She absolutely lives for toys and will happily keep herself entertained for hours. Annabelle is both dog- and cat-friendly, and she adores being around people — she’s a classic “Velcro dog” who loves to be part of the action. She walks nicely on leash, is potty trained, and rides wonderfully in the car. She also does well in her kennel as long as she has some favorite toys or treats to keep her busy. While she’s friendly with other pups, Annabelle prefers not to share her toys, she’ll politely (and sometimes not-so-politely!) make sure everyone knows the ball is hers. Her story is a touching one: after her owner passed away in the Imperial Valley, the remaining family, living out of state, couldn’t take her in. When we met her at the shelter, we knew this smart, loyal girl deserved a fresh start and a family who would truly appreciate her loving heart and playful spirit. Meet Ellie! 7-year-old Ellie was a loving, loyal companion for six years after being adopted from a SPCA in New Jersey. Her guardian was heartbroken to rehome Ellie due to housing changes and hopes she will find a loving family who appreciates a gentle girl content to snooze the afternoon away but always ready for a good walk, a game of fetch, or a cuddle session. Soon after becoming a Frosted Face, Ellie went on a two-week Frosted Fling and earned a glowing review: "Ellie was calm, quiet, and well-behaved from the second she hopped into my car at FFF. She is a great dog. It takes a few for her personality shine, then she seeks out more pets and playtime. Ellie is happy when you wake up in the morning. We'd do a short walk, then breakfast. Once she settled in, we'd play tug or with a ball every morning after breakfast (and dinner), and then she liked to nap out in sun. Ellie is very mellow in the house and naps quite a bit. She is well-behaved when home alone with full run of the house. No anxiety or destructive behaviors. Ellie is totally potty-trained. She stands by the door when she needs to go out. She also knows SIT and SHAKE commands. Ellie is friendly with other dogs and really liked my cat. She didn’t exhibit any aggression or guarding behaviors, even when my cat tried to check out her bone! Ellie would wag her tail happily when I'd take out her leash. She is fine with walks around the neighborhood but can walk 2-3 miles with no problem. Ellie does pull a little when she is close to other dogs, but she is easy to correct. She checks in often while walking. Ellie really likes to meet and greet other dogs and wants to engage in play, but can get in a dog’s face and bark excitedly. With proper introductions, I think Ellie would do great with a doggy sibling. On an outing with another Frosted Face, they rode together in the car nicely and mostly ignored each other on a hike. At the coffee shop afterwards, the other dog had to greet and lean against everyone who stopped by while Ellie just chilled. Ellie was my 13th Frosted Fling, and, and she was the hardest to return. She'd have a home with me if I didn't travel 5 months every year." Ellie's Christmas wish is for a new family. Could that be you? She does need slow introductions to new dogs, but after that, they are friends for life. She's happy and loves running around the fenced yard, sniffing the world around her and chew bones. Mango has discovered she loves to chase balls and play with stuffies! Car rides are very exciting. She loves being talked to & will just gaze up at you. Mango has been wonderful with the older children in her foster home. This girl is a major cuddler and genuine Velcro Dal. She wants to be touching you at all times. If you want personal space, she is not the girl for you. Mango is a very good girl when it comes to taking a bath & having her nails done. Location: Fresno, CA Say hi to Atlas! This cutie guy is about 8-10 months old and was found roaming the streets. No microchip, no owner has been found. The finder cannot keep him, as he is very much a puppy and tends to run over her little dogs. He is currently 35 lbs. We are guessing Atlas to be a blend of Dalmatian and Cattle dog, that equals adorable & sweet. Gets along great with other dogs, of course after a proper introduction. He is very shy and timid at first, once he warms up, he just wants to be near you. Atlas loves to run and his recall is pretty good. He enjoys learning things, is easy to train, he will let you dress him up, brush his teeth, clean his ears, and he is good at letting you know he needs to potty Stuffies are his favorite thing to destroy, otherwise he might get into other things laying around, he is still a puppy. Loves nice, hearty chews to keep him busy. Atlas is getting more comfortable with kisses and hugs. We don't think he was ever cuddled before, still somewhat of a foreign concept to him. good car rider Atlas will be neutered with his adoption. We do not know about kids or cats at this time. We think he would be fine with kiddo's over 9+ years old.
