Story
Bruno lived with his original owner in Portland for four years until his owner became ill last June. After bouncing between three temporary living arrangements over the next two months, I adopted him immediately after the National GWP Rescue put him on their website in August. Bruno is a natural athlete who totally lights up whenever he gets to walk, jog, run, or (his favorite) pulling me on my bike (“bikejoring”). Indoors, Bruno is very quiet, mellow and content to nap at your feet most of the day! He takes his recovery time pretty seriously 😏. Bruno is reactive to other dogs on a leash, and his strong prey drive requires that he be the only furry pet in the house. He also can become distraught when left alone, but is doing better with supportive strategies; eg, exercise and potty, then kennel crate with a chewy. As a single person I am having to leave him alone more than what is best for him. Suggested fee goes to NGWP Rescue, and his home and travel crates are included. 🙏

Story
Bruno lived in Portland until his original owner became ill last June. After 3 temporary homes the National GWP Rescue offered Bruno for adoption in August, and I immediately responded. Bruno is a natural athlete who apparently wasn’t given much socialization or exercise previously. He is very quiet, mellow and content to nap and be near his owner when indoors. Out of doors he comes alive when fully exerting himself, whether through jogging, running, or (especially) pulling me on my bike (bikejoring). He is very sweet and comforting to be around (I.e., unless you are another dog or small animal), but he can have a hard time being left alone too long or without supportive strategies in place. As a single person I am just having to leave him alone more than what is best for him. I will include his home and travel crates with the suggested fee (going to the NGWP Rescue) to ease his transition. I’m also happy to split the distance for a meet and greet if I like you 😉
