Story
Meet Tootsie! This sweet, shy puppy is curious about the world around her and slowly learning that there’s plenty to be excited about. People are already high on her list—even spotting someone on TV is enough to get her whole body wagging!
Tootsie is making progress with housetraining and learning the basics of good house manners. She’s also doing wonderfully with her kennel and settles in nicely when it’s time to relax.
While Tootsie is still building her confidence, her adorable personality starts to shine once she feels safe and comfortable. She’s looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the encouragement, consistency, and time she needs to continue coming out of her shell and figuring out this whole dog thing.
Tootsie is a 6-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Tootsie is also tested with other dogs, children, and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats and is working on potty training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
